The document describes the process of creating a contents page in Quark Express. The author inserted colored boxes to hold the text and used a new text and box tool. Font size and colors were chosen to match the overall design and color scheme. Images were also inserted into boxes on the contents page after being cropped in Photoshop to fit properly. The author learned new skills in both Photoshop and Quark Express while creating the contents page.

2. First of all I inserted boxes
where the text of the
contents would go. I chose
colours that all matched the
colour scheme and an
appropriate font size. I used
the text and box tool which
was new to me as I had never
used quark express before.
3. I then got on with typing out all
of the feature and regular
contents. I used a small 9pt
font size as this relates to the
codes and conventions of a
contents page. I played around
with different colours and
decided that orange contrasted
well against a dark grey which
also went with the colour
scheme of the front cover.
4. After this I inserted images that i
had previously taken for my
contents page using the picture
box tool which was a box with a
cross through it. To make sure
that the images fitted exactly to
the box I had to crop them on
Photoshop first. I learnt a lot
about both Photoshop and quark
express.
