3. First day….15.11.15
 This year, science week gets along with world science day..
 The highlight of today’s competition was the scavenger’s hunt, inter- house competition .Year 5 and 6 have
enjoyed the Scavenger’s hunt. The blue team has hunt 21 items, the green team has hunt 19 items, and the red
team has hunt 15 items, whereas the yellow team has hunt 11 items only!
 In class activities involved much more amazing events:
 Year 9A has delivered their first flipped classroom; the students’ teachers have conducted “Density” lesson.
Ironically, they taught year 7 girls and boys a fantastic lesson. At the end, they distributed reward certificates to
the winning team and gave them house points as well.
 In lesson 6, years 5 and 6 have created secret ink. Amazingly, invisible letters have been sent to friends.
 In lesson 8, years 7 and 9 students were engaged in “egg drop challenge”

4. Second day…16.11.15
Another exciting day of the week. We had excellent speakers from years8, 9, 10 and 11 who debated on the
following two topics:
1. Capitalism has slowed down the growth of scientific innovation.
2. Periods of war escalate scientific growth faster than times of peace.

Second highlight of the day is the science activities where students from different year groups have enjoyed.
Today the water bottle rockets were designed and will be tested in the field in the next few days. This activity
went very well and students seemed interested and engaged.

5. THIRd day…17.11.15
First highlight of today’s competition was Table game.
Second highlight was steam exhibition

6. FouRTH day…18.11.15
Main event of this day was getting healthy…
Students of different age groups did many activities showing the importance of health.
Students brought fruits and vegetables and made tasty salads and smoothies. They talked about the
ingredients and their health benefits.
They did experiments to show the bad effects of smoking and alcohol.

7. FIFTH day…19.11.15
First highlight of the day was science play...Students really enjoyed it.Another important event of the
day was science song which was conducted during the break time in the assembly area. The whole
school was able to enjoy it….
