13. Summary
For part of our research we chose to take pictures of locations we may use when filming. The
first group of photos are of grave stones, a graveyard and church, this location is needed for
when our ‘victim’ that has been previously bullied turns to Satanism for a means of escape
and revenge on the ‘bullies’.
We also took photos of our wooded location, although the pictures are not of good quality the
dark gives a good effect on the pictures of the wooded area. There is also two pictures of our
torture location which is an old abandoned bomb shelter in the middle of the woods which is
ideal as the ‘mise en scene’ is dark, dingy and shabby.
Another location needed is for the beginning of the trailer that is set in a school. We focus
mainly on close up shots and long shots so we experimented with the camera taking photos at
different angles.
There is also a domestic location needed for the trailer in which an outside and inside shot will
be used. The shot will be of the exterior of a stereotypical family home which is large, well
kept and has a communal feeling. The inside shot will be of the ‘victim’ looking at Satanism on
a laptop/desktop in a dark room.
