ELECTRICITY EXPERIMENT
IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Electricity Experiment In Junior High
School
Goal:
 Student know how to make an electricity , the element
needed to make it, which one is conductor and isolator.
 Student know the parallel and series electricity set.
 Student know the basic calculation of electricity
EXPERIMENT
 Electricity Experiment In Junior High School
 Focusing on the electricity circuit,
combine with the basic concept and
calculation, wrap it up with the model
of robot as a theme to make it more fun
for the student.
Material & Equipment
Equipment Material
Lamp/ music box
Little box made of
transparant material
Battery
Wire
Wrap
Box for battery
Hanger
Alumunium
Copper
Nail/iron
Zinc/steel
Glass
Paper
Wood
Procedure
 String up the electricity like sketch below
 Make the electricity can be show when the wire connect
with the conductor not the isolator
 Prepare the material for classification
 To make it more interesting use the box to cover up the
lamp / music box
 and make it like a robot with the sketch like in below
Pick mee uup!!
Student know how to make an electricity , the element needed to
make it, which one is conductor and isolator.
1. PICK UP THE ROBOT
They pick the material and equipment which needed to make an
electricity circuit. The equipment wrap with a small box.
I will choose. .
2. Robot will choose
 Student collect the material given by the teacher and try it one by one,
they will make a conclusion, which one is the conductor and isolator.
Independent Variable The current, the material
Dependent Variable The reaction of lamp (on/off)
Controlled Variables The total of battery, the kind of
lamp
Arrangement
Picky robot
This model will just
light on if the
connector is the
conductor one
Find my friends
3. Robot finds friend
They must arrange the electricity circuit to become series or parallel by join
with other groups.
4. Robot will tell the concept
 Video
ADVANTAGES
 Fun
 Easy to directed and
understand
 simple
DISADVANTAGES
 Expensive
 Time consuming
DISCUSSION
 Worksheet to develop the
student
 Consider the circuit, the
arrangement, the batery
 Consider the lamp
