The document outlines the author's vision for their ideal future career and life. It describes establishing a worldwide foundation called "Safe and Sound" to help displaced survivors of war. The author's ultimate goal is to sit on a mountaintop and speak to Jesus, which founding this organization will help achieve. Over years, the foundation would grow to meet with world leaders and the UN to protect and sustain more people. Reaching this destination depends on maintaining faith and commitment to the foundation's core beliefs.

Travel
In “Why I Travel” by Molly Sprayregen the view on traveling is that it is not about simply experiencing another culture, but about experiencing something new about oneself. When traveling it is a time to learn and try new things; it is about grasping the full idea on how little we all really know about the world we live in. Traveling teaches people how each and every person has a lot to offer others, and it helps people appreciate home and differentiate between what is important and what is not. A benefit would be on how Molly states how traveling helps you form a gut instinct on who you can trust, even if it was learned after trusting the wrong people along the way which was a cost to traveling. Another important point Molly made was on how anything that is worth doing in life tends to be accompanied by pain, whether it is physical or emotional. On another note, she also stated how it is from that pain, that we get a sense of joy.
Then, in the second article about Deep Travel, it is on an interview with Tony Hiss. He states how Deep Travel is a state of mind in which you channel the feeling you get from traveling and use it to broaden our lives. It is a talent in which we are all born with and can easily access. From what I read, Tony is leaning more towards the fact that people do not need to travel to get a feeling of relaxation and so on. He states that reading can evoke a similar state of mind. From what he wrote the benefit would be that there would be no need to really travel anywhere, but a cost would be that you would not be experiencing anything new. Overall, traveling is an exhilarating thing to do, but it can easily be done from home.
Deep Travel
· You can get the same feeling from home.
· Don’t experience, so much as thinking, reading, and remembering.
· A talent.
· A state of mind.
· You can get a feeling of exhilaration from thought and feeling.
“Why I Travel”
· Traveling from place is the best way to get the full experience.
· You learn about yourself, not just culture.
· Something best done, not learned.
· Helps form a gut instinct.
· Helps clear what is really important, and appreciate home.
· Both value traveling.
· Life is simple.
· You learn.
· Teach what we do not know of the world.

A few summers ago, my family took a trip to Africa. We kissed giraffes in Kenya, hiked into Rwanda's dense rainforest to see the mountain gorillas, and followed the migration through Tanzania's Serengeti. In those seventeen days, I fell in love with Africa, both the areas populated by wildlife and by humans. I have never stopped searching for ways to return.
Just as we took off on our flight home from Tanzania, the final stop on our three-nation journey, our captain's voice came over the loudspeaker: "Ladies and gentleman, this is your captain speaking, if you look out your window t ...

Descartes up, hume down!
certainty
doubt
Write an essay of fewer than one thousand words that clearly and accurately explains the picture above. Although both Descartes and Hume intend to discover the foundations and limits of knowledge, their starting points and conclusions contrast sharply. Use your understanding of the key developments in Meditations on First Philosophy and An Enquiry Concerning Human Understanding to explain precisely how Descartes begins in doubt and ends in certainty, while Hume begins in certainty and ends in doubt. Identify a “turning point” in each case. Lastly, explain how and where each in his own way comes very close to adopting the views of a madman. Completed work is due online, through the Assignments tab on Blackboard, before 11:59 pm on Friday, April 15.

Passion is that strong feeling or the fervor about doing a given thing or for something. It can also be a feeling for someone or the thing that you enjoy doing very much. It is about putting more energy into something that one likes to do. The ambition that one is ready and eager to do something with the involvement of the mind, the heart and the entire body.
As a person, my passion is travelling. If I had all the money necessary, I will tour all countries of the world, I will explore every corner of the globe. This is because life is too short to go at the same place twice. It is such a pleasure moving from country to country, from place to place to place and to see the décor of the apartments in such places. Travelling is one of the few things that makes me realize that life is so beautiful and has a lot to admire.
Travelling gives me a chance of visiting new places, encountering new culture, meeting people born in the other countries, to come into understanding such people, who have a mentality different from mine, all this is the beauty of travelling.
It not only widens my knowledge base but also gives me an ample atmosphere to relax. The world has a lot of tensions and therefore, the mind at one point needs this moments of relaxation. Every time I travel, I learn and understand a new phenomenon, a new people, a new culture which increases my perspective about life and my general view of the world we live in.
Travelling has in fact given me a new hope in life, which every other person should be encouraged and mentored to do what he or she can do best. Encouraging the children around the world about the opportunities that life offers. It has become a learning moment, that every time I travel to a new town, I must find out about a neighboring school or a children’s home so that I can go and encourage them to always take up the challenge regardless of their situations or their environment in life.
The journey I made to Australia, Singapore, The United Kingdom, Canada among the other very many countries have given me this chance to.
1. The Ideal Life is Within Me
As I reflect on what the ideal life will look like in my future, I have come to terms with the fact that I
shall start living my life with the end game in mind, while understanding that my destiny is within me. In
order for me to get to where I want to go, I needed to picture what it will look like. So here is my vision
of where my career path needs to take me when I've reached the end;
Scanning the red horizon, the dark pines rise up like soldiers along the mountain tops as I stretch my
tired legs atop this quiet rock. I gaze in wonder at the vacant flat rock next to me as a bright shaft of light
descends like a ladder upon it. Eyes closed, I tremble with joy in anticipation of His arrival. High upon
the summit ledge, the air is much cooler here as the eagles soar. I must take off my hat if I am not to
lose it to the swirling winds. My dusty boots have been a companion on many climbs, but this ascent has
been much steeper than the others, with loose gravel on every trail, and boulders blocking every turn.
This climb from the valley has taken my last ounce of strength that I could muster from my reservoir of
hope and faith. Alone in silence, I rewind my life's journey in my mind and smile as I recall the laughter
and love of those I cared for along the way. Now, finished with my life's work of establishing "Safe and
Sound", a world-wide foundation of helping displaced survivors of war, I gently pull a mustard seed from
the torn shirt pocket over my heart and lightly place it on the vacant flat rock, as I have always believed.
If ever asked the question "If you could have anything you wanted, what would it be"? The answer
would still be the same that it was in the year 2000, when I replied; "I would just like to sit on a
mountaintop rock and speak to Jesus". In a broader sense, "Safe and Sound" is my Mission Statement
to the world, and a road map that will lead me to the destination that I have chosen.
Ultimately, following the objectives of this mission statement will lead me to meetings with the leaders
of nations for their counsel and advice. I may even speak to the General Assembly of the United Nations.
But more importantly, as it may take years to build such a strong foundation, my focus must be
unwavering. The volunteers and corporate partners who participate in the foundation must be
committed to its core beliefs. For in the end, the success of this undertaking can only be measured by
the number of people that "Safe and Sound" can protect and sustain. It will depend on how well we
nourish our own mustard seeds of faith.
It's been great having you in class, Mike. I know your contributions inspired other students; thank you
for sharing your experiences on the boards and in papers.
