Historical facts:
Saudi Arabia is the home land of the Date Palm Tree. With more than 10000 years of age it is one
of the oldest trees in the world. Many nations transferred the palm trees from Saudi Arabia (used
to be called Arabian Peninsula) to other places in the world after they became amused by its
charming beauty and its endless generosity. For example, the great Alexander was the first to
introduce palm trees to Pakistan. And with the entrance of the Kalifa Abdualrahman Aldakel to
Spain (Andalusia) the first palm tree entered Spain. This led to its availability in America;
because it was introduced to Mexico for the first time by the Portuguese and then it reached the
United States during the 18th century.
Today, Saudi Arabia is the second largest producer of dates in the world.
Makah is the holiest place in the Islamic world. Every year, millions of Muslims go to Hajj or
pilgrimage in Mecca, fulfilling one of the Five Pillars of Islam, namely to make the Hajj in Mecca,
the holy city, at least once in a lifetime if able to do so. The foundation of Islam is important for
everyone to understand whether one is religious or not. Mecca or Makkah, is the historical and
geographical epicenter of Islam. All practicing Muslims, everywhere in the world, prostrate
themselves toward the Kaaba in Mecca five times a day. Every Muslim is obliged to travel to
Mecca, and perform the Islamic ritual of the Hajj at least once in their lifetime, because it is the
"fifth pillar" of Islam. Some Muslims believe that the Kaaba, around which Islam revolves, is
located in the center of the earth.

Elementary education lasts for six years (age level 6-12 years old) and leads to the General
Elementary Education Certificate. Intermediate Education lasts for three years (age level
12-15) and it leads to the Intermediate School Certificate. Secondary school education lasts for
three years (age level 15-18) and it leads to the high school diploma.

When compared to everything else in the world, the Makkah Clock Royal Tower Hotel can only
