Description
DEWI (UL International GmbH) offers global, one-stop wind energy services to turbine manufacturers, component
manufacturers, project developers, utilities and other companies within the sector. Previously Infosys deployed a
global Order to Cash and finance processing platform at UL with a standardized service offering catalog that
supports all UL’s business units. This project involved integrating DEWI on UL’s Oracle platform, design &
deployment of DEWI specific inventory solution to meet their wind measurement assembly sale and lease business,
legal entity consolidation of multiple UL businesses into a single entity UL International GmbH.
Roles & Responsibilities Technical Lead (Onsite) – P2P & O2C
• Lead a team for requirements gathering, configuration & testing of new site process on the existing UL
platform. This involved multiple systems like Oracle back office system, fulfilment systems, reporting
tools, etc.

building finance operational reporting capabilities and implementing new functionality in the finance areas.
Roles & Responsibilities Techno Functional Lead (Onsite) - Financials
• Lead a team for requirements gathering, design & deployment of business reports required for financial
reporting. These include reports like Aging reports, Invoicing reports, GL reports etc.
• Re-designing UL’s complex AR invoicing solution to improve content & resolving outstanding issues
identified based on customer feedback.
• Implemented Performance Tuning on iReceivables Invoice printing which brought down the cost from
millions to few hundreds. This was highly appreciated by IT client Director.
• Rollout of new Oracle modules like iReceivables, iStore to enable self-service for UL’s customers. This
also includes enabling credit card payments using 3rd party payment system Cybersource
• Was part of the Invoice Print reuse solution which combined Oracle Concurrent Program printing and Web

requirements elaboration, design, build, testing, implementation and support. The UL business processes will be
remodeled in Oracle eBusiness Suite version R12 and hence making the best use of the advanced features of the
Oracle R12 to achieve the maximum benefits. Once implemented the same was supported with team at offshore
and at Onsite.
Roles & Responsibilities Technology Analyst- India
• Lead an 8+ team for requirements gathering, design & deployment of complete Interfaces with Oracle.
• Interfaces involved Oracle Order Management to Projects, Oracle Projects to Fulfillment Entities, Oracle
Service Contracts to Projects and vice versa
• Coordinated with SOA team on the mappings between entities and WSDL creation

• Developed a custom solution in Ireceivables to print web based Invoices. Bill Presentment Architecture
(BPA) solution was used to achieve the same. BPA involves creating data sources and setting up templates
and the same was called via Oracle Java functions to print web based Invoices

customer requirements
