Sarah Walker was born in 1988 in Whakatane, New Zealand and currently lives in Kawerau, New Zealand. She began riding BMX in 1999 after seeing her brother ride. Walker is a professional BMX rider for Team New Zealand and has won medals in the Olympics, World Championships, and SuperCross World Cup competitions, including a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics in women's BMX.
