San Diego State University is celebrating 120 years since its founding with a 120-day celebration that kicked off in late August. The celebration began with the school's annual "Hello Walk" for new students and will continue through the end of the year with several events commemorating the university's 120 years of providing academic leadership and civic engagement to the community. Bharat Lall, a hotel management company owner and longtime financial supporter of SDSU, opened his own hotel management firm in 1998 after years of experience rehabilitating distressed properties.

• After 10 years of work rehabilitating distressed hotel properties,
Bharat Lall opened his own hotel management company, Pinnacle
Hotels USA, in 1998. He now owns nine different properties in high-
growth areas of Texas and Southern California. Outside of his
professional life, Bharat Lall is a longtime financial supporter of San
Diego State University.
Celebrating 120 years of academic leadership and civic engagement,
San Diego State University is in the midst of a 120-day celebration
that kicked off August 25th with the school’s annual “Hello Walk” on
campus. The walk, which begins at the Templo del Sol and
continues through the arches of Hepner Hall, is the traditional
welcome and a rite of passage for new students at the school.
The 120-day celebration will continue through the end of the 2017
calendar year, with several events commemorating the school’s 120
