Sandy was driving to the university when she approached an intersection where the light turned yellow. She slammed on her brakes and stopped in the intersection, where her car was then hit from behind by a delivery truck. Police were called to the scene to investigate. Sandy complained of neck and chest pain and was taken to the emergency room to be examined. The police officer collected statements from Sandy and the truck driver about what occurred. An accident reconstruction found that Sandy's car left 80 foot skid marks while the truck left 20 foot skid marks. Data needs to be analyzed to determine if either driver was speeding or at fault for the accident.
