Room 4 went tree planting on the port hills yesterday where they planted several native tree species like Ribbon wood and Grisilniea under instruction from Nelmack. Sam and his classmates planted trees in spots marked with yellow spray paint and while it was fun, digging through hard roots made it tiring work, but they hope the newly planted trees will grow large in the future.

2.  Yesterday room 4 went tree planting on
the port hills.

3.  We planted lots of native trees such as:
Ribbon wood, Grisilniea, Pittosporum and
many others.

4.  I planted 4 trees that were native.

5.  We were instructed by the people from
Nelmack.

6.  We had to plant on the places with yellow
spray paint.

7.  It was fun but tiring because of hard roots.

8.  Hopefully the trees will grow big in the
future.
