The document discusses the results of a study on the impact of climate change on coffee production. Researchers found that suitable land for coffee production could decline by up to 50% by 2050 due to rising temperatures and changing rain patterns associated with climate change. Arabica coffee was found to be especially threatened, as its growing regions may shrink by nearly 80% this century according to the study's climate models. The findings suggest that climate change could significantly impact global coffee supply and quality in coming decades if greenhouse gas emissions are not reduced.

As simple as it sounds, effective sales pitches require upfront work and a conscious effort to stray from the script. Creating effective sales presentations that are collaborative is an art that’s perfected over time and comes with years of hands-on experience.
Knowing that, here are nine tips to get you on your way to a more effective sales pitch.
This document provides 10 questions that can help make a successful sales pitch:
1) Understand who you are speaking to by learning about their role, background, and connection to get context on their needs and priorities.
2) Determine how the user found your company to understand their level of interest and intent to purchase.
3) Learn about the user's role in the market to target your pitch appropriately based on their industry and needs.
4) Identify existing products and services the user trusts to position your solution as a replacement or complement.
5) Let the user describe their problems to ensure you fully understand their needs and pain points.
If you are like many people, even the thought of delivering a speech in front of an audience will get your palms sweating. The fear of public speaking ranks high among the most common phobias, and for good reason: most of us approach the situation with the wrong mindset, which in turn makes us live out our worst fears in a public forum.
As Michael Parker notes in IT’S NOT WHAT YOU SAY: How to Sell Your Message When It Matters Most (A TarcherPerigee paperback; on sale January 2016), our fixation on the content of our words – and not the presentation of ourselves – is what brings us down. Once the Vice-Chairman of London’s Saatchi & Saatchi, and one of the world’s most experienced advertising pitch men, having made more than 1,000 pitches in his successful career, Parker has learned first-hand that an effective presentation, a job interview, or even a speech at a wedding hinges on our ability to portray ourselves as passionate, relatable, and collected. But, if we are focused on what we say, and not how we act, we will fail to persuade our audience.
Applied in the boardroom, at the pulpit, or even in conversation, these tenets will help you present better in any situation.
This document provides 77 sales scripting techniques organized into different categories. Some of the highlighted techniques include:

- Social proof through testimonials and endorsements from third parties to achieve influence that can't be self-created.
- Closing techniques like assuming the sale, reducing risk, offering bonuses, and using silence to influence prospects.

1. No matter how you modify your sales pitch and make it more dramatic, you seem to never close a sale.
Even if you spend long hours at night memorizing your script for the next sales cal;, your efforts are
always in vain.
You might have been in the selling business for years but still haven’t mastered what it takes to become
the master salesman or network marketer you could be. Although you’ve attended several sales skills
training and webinars, they seem to never bring you the results you’ve been expecting. So, what comes
next?
The next step is learning how a sales pitch doesn’t really help you at all, and how you can easily create
value when you use a proven online income system like me. While it may be foreign territory for you,
the reality is that it’s time for you to try something different. If you want to know how you can easily
close more sales in your network marketing business, then make sure that you read this article all the
way through.
Why Coming Up with a Sales Pitch Won’t Help You at All
Your fellow network marketers have struggled like you and have even thought of shifting careers. But, if
you’re on the edge of deciding to take the same path, then it’s time to stop for a while and try to figure
out what’s wrong in your sales tactics. After all, if you aren’t focused on target marketing, you won’t get
very far with any sales pitch!
Today, you’re going to learn effective sales methods that can help you let go of your scripted sales pitch.
You need to know that not everyone will be interested in buying your products or simply cannot afford
your offers.
You should learn that in order to sell, you need to find a qualified customer first. You would be losing a
lot of time and effort to recite your script to everyone. It’s an effort that really just wastes your time.
This is why it pays to study the sales and marketing systems out there to determine what will work best
for you.
Not everyone likes baseball, and I’m okay with that!
You should know what your customer wants or needs before you start selling, and even then, people
don’t want to be sold. Figure out if you’re talking to your target prospect and not to just anyone. To find
that out, ask some questions. Learn what the customer’s needs and budget are.
When the Customer or Prospect Gives You a Sales Pitch
You should know that even as a network marketer or a distributor, you have the right to say ‘no.’ If you
think that the customer’s demand is profitable, then you can say ‘yes,’ but when it’s not, certainly, you
can say ‘no.’ You don’t need to become so friendly to all customers that they walk all over you. Don’t get
stressed and allow yourself to become frustrated.
2. If they think that they know more than you about what you do, then it’s time to let them walk. Don’t
ever chase someone down to sell them. Really, you don’t have to! This is the great thing about working
for yourself. You choose who you wish to work with! This is another joy of earning passive income. Just
sayin’.
Regardless, when you throw out a sales pitch, you tend to talk more than your customer. You failed to
realize that your customer might want to say or ask something from you but simply cannot since you do
all the talking. No matter how flawless or attractive your sales pitch is, you could lose your prospect in
the first few minutes if he could feel you’re pitching.
On the other hand, you can make him feel appreciated and that you sympathize with his situation by
lending your ears to what he has to say. Over being a talker, switch to becoming a listener. That way,
you can improve your chances for a sale. By listening, you could understand what certainly your
customer needs and how you can help solve his problem through your products or services.
Get Past the Sales Pitch
When you’ve closed a deal, avoid talking further. You can lose a deal if you would make the customer
think twice in case you said something that would make him do that. Shut your mouth when you
achieve a positive result! Trust me, I know all about i!
Besides, using the internet is a much smarter venue for offering your product or service. It’s a softer sell,
and your website will sell for you around the clock. When you work from your home, you can choose the
tools you use, and conduct business the way you want.

eliminate that “sales pitch” that really doesn’t work!
