2. EXPERIENCE IN PERFORMING

DUTIES / TASKS
• Giving instruction to patient about the hemodialysis procedures.
• Serving the patient in very possible way so as to keep patient in

• Checking up the R.O plant prior to the treatment.
• Giving daily maintenance to the R.O machine before treatment,
Start, particularly giving back rinse, rinse to the R.O softener&
charcoal filter.
• Prepare dialysate according to established procedure & dialysis

• Tests, monitors and machines functions including alarms,
conductivity & temperature, sets monitors and alarms according to
unit and manufacture protocols.
• Assemble and prepare the dialysis extra-corporeal circuit according
to protocol & dialysis prescription.
• Verify absence of residual sterilants.
• Obtain and documents pre- dialysis, vital signs, weight, temp.
• Giving psychological support to the patient.
• Inquiring and making general health reading to the patient such as
recently bleeding tendency, allergies patient have about any
medicines.
• Incepts the patients dialysis access with Povidone iodine and
alcohols, administers local anesthesia, insert needle, & initiates
dialysis according to unit protocol and patients prescription.
• AV fistula and AV graft cannulations.
• Administers anticoagulant according to the unit protocol &
prescription.
• Measures and adjust blood flow rate according to established
protocol and prescription.
• Documents treatment parameters and communicates patient’s
condition and issue to the registered nurse or Nephrologist.

3. • Monitors patients and equipments, respond to alarm and readjust
treatment parameters as defined by established protocol and
individual patient’s requirements.
• Terminating of the dialysis normally with saline wash.
• Dialysis reuses procedure.
• Prepare sterelant to filling dialyzer according to protocol or
manufacture.
• Disinfection of Dialysis machine and R.O system include distribute
line.
• Regeneration of R.O system.
• Critical care management.
• Fire and safety management.

• Perform total patient care during dialysis, including monitoring.
