• Obtain and documents pre- dialysis, vital signs, weight, temp.
• Giving psychological support to the patient.
• Inquiring and making general health reading to the patient such as
recently bleeding tendency, allergies patient have about any
medicines.
• Incepts the patients dialysis access with Povidone iodine and
alcohols, administers local anesthesia, insert needle, & initiates
dialysis according to unit protocol and patients prescription.
• AV fistula and AV graft cannulations.
• Administers anticoagulant according to the unit protocol &
prescription.
• Measures and adjust blood flow rate according to established
protocol and prescription.
• Documents treatment parameters and communicates patient’s
condition and issue to the registered nurse or Nephrologist.
3. • Monitors patients and equipments, respond to alarm and readjust
treatment parameters as defined by established protocol and
individual patient’s requirements.
• Terminating of the dialysis normally with saline wash.
• Dialysis reuses procedure.
• Prepare sterelant to filling dialyzer according to protocol or
manufacture.

• Perform total patient care during dialysis, including monitoring.
Cannulation and connecting the patients to the dialysis machine,

• Operating & monitoring such as OCM and KT/V each H.D session
• Operating ultra filtration sequence or ultra filtration profile &
ISO- goal UF.
• Operating sodium modeling /variation in each H.D session.
• Discussing patients, problems and their medications with their
Doctor.
• Monitoring of water treatment plant including checking
hardness,Checking chloramines test, complete chemical tests,
taking water samples for cultures.
• An active participant with infection control team.
• Followed set procedures to determine common medical
complication and technical problems during entire dialysis
procedures.
• Maintained a safe clean and hygienic environment for patient and
staff following clinic procedure and policies.
• I have to maintain crash-cart properly according to the center.
• Overall disquisition with the head of department and also running
the department without any complication.
