What is Email Automation?
Email automation refers to task automation
related to your email account. You can
automate minor tasks involving your email
account that have a predictable structure, or
those that are part of larger, more complex
automation projects.

Common
Email Actions you can Automate
You can send Email messages just as you would normally do with an
Outlook or Gmail application. Values such as email recipients, CC's,
message subjects, body text or attachments can all be specified and
customized.
You can automate Replying, Forwarding, Deleting or Marking Emails as
Read with the actions available to you under the Mail tab in the Activities
Panel.

Save Email Attachments action along with saving Gmail and Outlook Email
are two of the most powerful features allowing you to speed up saving the
information that you need!
We are certain you move emails around in their dedicated folders every
day, or once a week, or, surely, once a month! You can automate this task
by making use of the Move Email action that helps you stay organized.

Not-so-Common
Email Actions you can Automate
Using the For Each Email activity allows you to execute a particular action
on each email message found in an Outlook folder or Gmail label, for
example, downloading all the attachments from the Inbox folder that contain
a specific title or body text.
When creating an automation that involves sending emails from your
account, you have the option of either using text in the body of the email or
Use a Word Document.

All the resources and actions that we need when creating
a project that involves mail automation are found under the
Activities panel under the Mail tab:

Outlook Automation
Imagine an Accounts Receivable department that receives hundreds of emails everyday,
and that such emails include invoices to be processed. We can save time by automating
this process.
Goal: process all the unread emails in the Business-Invoices folder
● Download attachments from unread mails into a local folder named "Payable"
● Move emails having "overdue" as part of their Subject into a mail folder named "Priority"

Simple Out of Office automation
In this practice, you'll build an automation you can use outside the program. When you take
a few days off, do you set an Out of Office auto-reply email?
