Ensure effective and efficient provision of financial services to customers and contribute to the customer’s business through the:
 Provision of timely and accurate commercial and financial reports and advice including those related to income, expenditure
and contributions within the customer’ business
 Critical and predictive analysis of the customer’s financial performance achieving customer’s business and program objectives
 Assistance in the preparation, consolidation, presentation and monitoring of customer’s budget
 Facilitate/support customers with the implementation of commercialization through the consistent application of business
like operating principles and practices related to financial matters
 Ensure the accuracy of the customer’s financial situation through the adherence to procedures and processes in accordance
with the RTA’s financial and accounting policies
Team Leader – Financial Services
Reporting & Operations, Business Services Group
 Contribute to the financial integrity of BSG and Sydney East customers through assisting managers with the preparation of
their biannual Resource Budgets and preparation of monthly financial statements
 Contribute to high level analysis of income and expenditure against forecasts by liaising with BSG and Sydney East
customer’s General, Section and Unit Managers and Finance Directorate staff and initiating corrective action
 Ensure the timely and accurate transfer of costs between services providers and clients by transferring such costs on a
monthly basis
 Monitor skill hire and commercial contract by ensuring the appropriate approvals have been obtained and the expenditure
does not exceed approved amounts
 Ensure the monies owing to the Authority by outside organisations are promptly and accurately recovered through the
preparation of Debit Notes
 Provide high level administrative support to the Administration Officer and undertake special assignments and projects
Program Reporting Clerk
Financial & Management Accounting Branch, Finance Directorate
 Assist in the preparation of internal and external reports by extracting information from FMIS
 Ensure the accuracy of information obtained by liaising with data integrity staff
 Ensure the provision of and consolidate information from all Directorates for inclusion in reports by liaising with relevant
staff within the appropriate Directorate
 Control the processing of Journal Transfer Vouchers within the General Ledger by maintaining the “TV” Register and
inputting to the system
 Ensure the currency of the Ministerial Questions and Answers Register by registering the questions and answers
Supply & Asset Officer
IM & IT Branch, Corporate Services Division
As IT Supply & Asset Officer I am accountable to the IT Supply, Asset & Office Services Coordinator and responsible for the
purchasing of computer software and hardware and its tracking, delivery, disposal and repair.
 Ensure the correctness of purchase requests by requests against RTA standards and checking completeness of information
 Ensure that purchase pricing is competitive and conforms with existing contracts by identifying suppliers, calling quotations
and selecting appropriate suppliers
 Ensure timely and correct supply of hardware and software by monitoring orders, deliveries and suppliers
 Provide for the integrity of the record of the fixed assets for the branch by maintaining the fixed asset database
 Provide products to all RTA offices by taking delivery of orders and arranging distribution
 Liaise with external suppliers and manufacturers of IT products to aid in the purchase of hardware and software for users

Roy Cornale – 0418 603 893 Page 3 KKEEYY PPOOSSIITTIIOONNSS Team Leader – Financial Services Reporting & Operations, Business Services Group Ensure effective and efficient provision of financial services to customers and contribute to the customer’s business through the:  Provision of timely and accurate commercial and financial reports and advice including those related to income, expenditure and contributions within the customer’ business  Critical and predictive analysis of the customer’s financial performance achieving customer’s business and program objectives  Assistance in the preparation, consolidation, presentation and monitoring of customer’s budget  Facilitate/support customers with the implementation of commercialization through the consistent application of business like operating principles and practices related to financial matters  Ensure the accuracy of the customer’s financial situation through the adherence to procedures and processes in accordance with the RTA’s financial and accounting policies Team Leader – Financial Services Reporting & Operations, Business Services Group  Contribute to the financial integrity of BSG and Sydney East customers through assisting managers with the preparation of their biannual Resource Budgets and preparation of monthly financial statements  Contribute to high level analysis of income and expenditure against forecasts by liaising with BSG and Sydney East customer’s General, Section and Unit Managers and Finance Directorate staff and initiating corrective action  Ensure the timely and accurate transfer of costs between services providers and clients by transferring such costs on a monthly basis  Monitor skill hire and commercial contract by ensuring the appropriate approvals have been obtained and the expenditure does not exceed approved amounts  Ensure the monies owing to the Authority by outside organisations are promptly and accurately recovered through the preparation of Debit Notes  Provide high level administrative support to the Administration Officer and undertake special assignments and projects Program Reporting Clerk Financial & Management Accounting Branch, Finance Directorate  Assist in the preparation of internal and external reports by extracting information from FMIS  Ensure the accuracy of information obtained by liaising with data integrity staff  Ensure the provision of and consolidate information from all Directorates for inclusion in reports by liaising with relevant staff within the appropriate Directorate  Control the processing of Journal Transfer Vouchers within the General Ledger by maintaining the “TV” Register and inputting to the system  Ensure the currency of the Ministerial Questions and Answers Register by registering the questions and answers Supply & Asset Officer IM & IT Branch, Corporate Services Division As IT Supply & Asset Officer I am accountable to the IT Supply, Asset & Office Services Coordinator and responsible for the purchasing of computer software and hardware and its tracking, delivery, disposal and repair.  Ensure the correctness of purchase requests by requests against RTA standards and checking completeness of information  Ensure that purchase pricing is competitive and conforms with existing contracts by identifying suppliers, calling quotations and selecting appropriate suppliers  Ensure timely and correct supply of hardware and software by monitoring orders, deliveries and suppliers  Provide for the integrity of the record of the fixed assets for the branch by maintaining the fixed asset database  Provide products to all RTA offices by taking delivery of orders and arranging distribution  Liaise with external suppliers and manufacturers of IT products to aid in the purchase of hardware and software for users
