2. • Rotary is an organization of people from the same social group, who came together to
expand the circle of communication, find new friends and like-minded people.
• Rotary is an organization of professionals who come together to use their skills to make a
difference in the lives of their communities.
• Rotary is a community with a history of more than 115 years, more than 35,000 clubs around
the world - in more than 160 countries; with members of 1.2 million people
• Rotary's philosophy is a philosophy of service –
“SERVICE ABOVE SELF”

3. Everything we think, say or do should be consistent with the following four
questions:
1. Is that true?
2. Is this fair to everyone involved?
3. Will it contribute to GOOD WILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIP?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL for everyone involved?
The four-question test was developed in 1923 by Rotarian Herbert Jay. Taylor,
who later became President of Rotary International

• Our uniqueness is that we aim to bring all our members to the "outer
circle", to help each other reach a passive income in order to realize
their dreams.
• We carry out a number of projects that unite our members and the
community in solving acute social problems: projects against Covid,
Helper, Financial Literacy, Ecopolis, Shop of Goods.

Mondays at 19.00.

14. • The strategy of the Rotary Club Kyiv International has been developed.
Strategic session was held with the consent of some members of the club.

• Establish a system of recruitment and adaptation of club members, reach
100 members by the end of 2021
• Work out the replenishment and maintenance of the endowment to pay
for the administration of all projects carried out by the RCKI
• Establish relationships with all steak holders needed to implement projects:
state and local authorities, national and local media, a number of bloggers
and opinion leaders, and more.
• Develop systemic fundraising tools both within the country and abroad
(sponsorship, crowdfunding, public budget, patronage, endowment,
membership fees, global grants, etc.).
• Develop and implement an internal system of training members of the
club, Rotaract and Interact, so that the system of mentoring, assistance,
donations to juniors.
• Implement an exchange program for young people to expand contacts with
foreign communities (Rotary and others)

• 4 global grants have been submitted to Rotary International. Online meetings
with US clubs to support our projects began on July 29.
• Grant from District 2232 in the amount of UAH 9,500 for printing games on
"Financial Literacy"
• US Helped Grant (US $ 5,000) for Helper
• More than USD 100,000 has been raised from foreign donors
• More than $ 150,000 has been donated in money and resources by club
members to ministry projects
• More than 10 local grants from our projects have been submitted: Embassy of
Bulgaria, international foundations (there is a sign online with a list)

Hearts of Europe projects began on July 29.

31. “Ecopolis” project GG2016965
• We want to create a game for children Ecopolis, using augmented reality
technology, in which we will introduce children to environmental issues, including
pollution from solid waste
• The game will be available on Android & IOS mobile devices
• Children will receive play currency in exchange for sorted household waste that
will be handed in at school and at recycling points.
• We plan to make the project in Nikolaev (Ukraine), and then to scale together
with Rotary and Pepsiko across Ukraine and all over the world.

32. “Shop of Goods" project GG2016976
• The project is designed to help in socialization, adaptation and career
guidance with a special teacher (tutors) for children
• The project is developed also for training parents and social worker to
become tutors for children with disabilities
• We want to train children to produce hand-make things and to sell them on

33. • The project "Financial Literacy" is developed, the plan, strategy is
developed; volunteers were recruited and trainers were involved.
