Fraser Kerr Tree Planting

The children attended a drumming performance where they were each given an African hand drum and had to follow the lead performer's visual cues and gestures without any words being spoken, as the performer did not talk at all. They remained fully focused throughout the sessions and had to rely on watching the performer to understand what to do, as no instructions were provided verbally.
Room 17 and 24
Room 17 and 24 students get together once a week for buddy classes where they share learning experiences. Photos show students from Room 24 visiting Room 17 to do buddy reading activities together. The document shares that Rooms 17 and 24 pair up for collaborative learning.
Hockey and Miniball Sessions
Hockey and miniball sessions will be held at the local sports center on Saturdays in January. Mrs. Holmes brought her snow machine to school to help teach students about changes in the weather as part of their unit on changes. The snow machine created artificial snowfall in the classroom to demonstrate the changes seen when it snows outside. The students enjoyed learning about snow through the interactive demonstration.

Room 10 and 12 are learning how to play tennis as well. Several classrooms at the school are being taught tennis skills. Students in rooms 10 and 12 are among those picking up how to play the sport of tennis through their classes.
