Drugs: prescription drugs (both brand-name and generic), non-prescription (over-the-counter) drugs Biologics: vaccines, blood and blood products, cellular and gene therapy products, tissue and tissue products, etc… Medical Devices: everything from tongue depressors and bedpans to complex technologies such as heart pacemakers, dental devices, and surgical implants and prosthetics Electronic Products that give off radiation: microwave, ovens, x-ray equipment, laser products, ultrasonic therapy

- #3 FDA: The FDA is responsible for the protection of public health. The FDA promotes public safety by ensuring products meant for human consumption/use meets safety expectations. The FDA regulates every imaginable area of product creation. The most commonly known area the FDA regulates is food. However, they also regulate everything from the coloured dyes used for colouring cosmetic lip stain to products for livestock and animals. The FDA has many regulations relating to many different areas of product creation. The H.R. 3580, the Food and Drug Administration Amendments Act of 2007 stands as a significant modern set of regulations. This was a set of laws and regulations geared to protect the users of medical devices and prescription medication. This Act gave the FDA more authority and support in the review of new medical devices and prescription medications subject to approval.

- #5 EPA S1: The EPA is responsible for the protection of the environment from pollution and irresponsible actions. It was developed as a preventive agency. The EPA is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of Americans in their environments at work, home, or school. The EPA and FDA have a similar purpose, but accomplish the purposes in very different ways. The EPA protects humans by caring for and regulating the environment they inhabit and share with nature. The EPA is responsible for clean air, clean water, and National Parks. It enacts regulations safeguarding the environment everyone shares and needs. One of the many significant regulations the EPA the Clean Water Act of o1972 still remains one of the most important to date. The act, originally called the Water Pollution Control Act of 1948, prohibits the dumping of pollution to any water way in America. This acts protects all surface waters and ground water sources from pollution.

- #7 FCC: The FCC is responsible for regulating interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. territories. The FCC is an independent U.S. government agency overseen by the Congress. The FCC is the primary authority for communications law, regulation and technological innovation. The FCC has been able to keep up with the changing times. The FCC enacted ACE to provide every citizen with better phone service without regard to income.
