PROFILE:
I am a very hard working and meticulous individual, with great attention to detail and people skills. I
work well as part of a team although I am also always willing to use my own initiative. I am
enthusiastic when presented with new challenges and always perform to the best of my ability. I am
also competent with the use of various computer packages.
I have excellent knowledge in the pressure testing of valves, transportable tanks and fittings. also
servicing and repairs of various valve’s and actuators. Having been offshore on many rigs and FPSO's
as a system engineer and bolting / valve technician helped my understanding of many manufacturing
systems, and greatly increased my confidence of working alone and to meet deadlines. I am now able
to service and repair a wide variety of equipment i.e. actuators, motors and pumps as well as the
testing, assembly and disassembly of transportable tanks, valves, flanges, various components and
fittings.
Although I do not have a trade behind me, I do have many years experience and excellent knowledge

March 2015 - Present CONTROL VALVE SOLUTIONS LTD
Valve Technician / Material Controller
Duties include full refurbishment and inspection of various manual
and hydraulic valves and various types of actuators. Using
measuring equipment to acquire any and all seals and bolting sizes.
Writing detailed inspection reports and risk assessments for any
piece of equipment that was stripped down. Also been fully trained
as materials controller for holiday cover including stock control,
with sourcing & buying new stock items.
Oct 2013- March 2015 WORLDWIDE OILFIELD MACHINE
Valve Technician / Pressure Tester
Duties include full refurbishment, inspection and testing of manual
and hydraulic valves, control valves, swivels, crossovers, check,
chokes and flanges. Able to understand drawings and complete all
inspection reports, route sheets and traceability paperwork.
Training the apprentices and trainee’s within the company.
Working offshore, servicing equipment and witnessing tests on
complete manifolds. Pressure testing various equipment up to
30000psi, whilst achieving high quality of safety and attention to
detail.

transportable tanks, tank units, pumps and various valve's, rv's
and flanges. Been to many rigs and vessels offshore where I have
to carry out the quarterly/yearly inspection of the offshore
platform’s helifuel systems to insure we receive the correct results
acquired to high standard procedures, over the duration of the
visits.

Responsible for the control of materials in the Aberdeen branch of
hydrasun. Stock Control, including sourcing & buying new stock
items. Assembly and disassembly, Pressure testing hydraulic hoses

excellent knowledge of hose and fittings.
