The World Federation of the Deaf works to realize deaf people's human rights through recognition of sign language in all aspects of life and in partnership with the United Nations, national deaf organizations, and other stakeholders. The WFD advocates for deaf people's rights and works with the UN and deaf organizations globally from 2015 to 2019.
