The document discusses a risk assessment conducted for a film shoot location. The filming crew checked the area for any risks to actor and crew safety, finding small risks like ditches, branches, and sharp-leaved bushes and trees. Conducting the risk assessment provided the film crew better awareness of the location and its surroundings to help with filming, especially at night.
3. Once we found a location to film in we had to check the area for any risks.
This was for the safety of our actors as well as our filing crew. The risks we
found were small but still had to be accounted for such as ditches, branches
and also sharped leaved bushes and trees such as holly. It was important to
do this as it gave us a better idea of the area. It also helped us as we were
planning to film later in the evening so would be more aware of the
surroundings, knowing where the ditches may be and where the cracks in
the floor may be.
