Technology in financial services, or ‘fintech’, entrants and technology-media-telecommunication companies have rapidly evolved into the traditional banking industry, offering customer-centric, faster-easier-convenient-free, financial services. Digital-only-neo-banks focus on payment, money transfer, lending for small-medium-businesses, and microfinancing, facilitating technological innovation such as digital wallet and messaging peer-to-peer transactions. Fintech banks generally lack scale and trust, unregulated in some cases with credit or liquidity risk exposure, from the customers perspective. Fintechs are increasingly perceived as a partner for a source of value creation through technological advances and innovations to large, traditional, and incumbent banks moving to accelerated digital transformation. All innovative technologies which have laid the groundwork for major disruption in the current digital banking revolution, set forth unimagined trajectory of collaboration and consolidation as fintech industry matures. This paper updates the digital banking transformation in fintechs and incumbent banking institutions to show that access to future fintech trends will grow significantly in coming years. The combined findings suggest that digitalised-mobile-banking transitions emphasize the capabilities of banking infrastructure for data sharing, connectivity, stability and cybersecurity and standardisation of internal and external APIs as progress continues within the regulatory framework of data protection as part of the privacy act and open-banking directives.

Going Digital: The Banking Transformation Road MapSemalytix
The leaders in digital banking are more client-centric, tech-savvy, and inclusive—and are fundamentally changing to deliver the best results.
Most banks today want to become digital banking leaders—after all, that's where the customers are. And for much of the past decade as digital banking has taken hold, most leading traditional banks have incorporated strong digital strategies.
So what separates the digital banking leaders from the laggards? A new A.T. Kearney study on digitization, in conjunction with Efma, seeks the answer and finds three main findings: the leaders understand the importance of mobile in a digital strategy, they are developing more agile operating models, and, most notably, they have tackled the need for internal culture shifts (see sidebar: About the Study).
With top-down implementation, these leaders have set their paths toward becoming more client-centric, more tech-savvy, and more inclusive. As the market evolves even more rapidly through the end of the decade, all banks will have to adapt to a disruptive model in people and IT—the two engines of retail banking—and must fundamentally adapt to deliver the best results.
This paper looks at the trends and the path forward.
The Evolving Digital Journey
Most banks began their digital journey years ago and have clear digital strategies, yet even those are facing major changes. In particular, as more customers use their mobile phones and tablets to do their banking, and omnichannel takes hold in financial services, the mobile experience is becoming a crucial aspect of digital strategy that banks must address.
Secondly, to keep up in this fast-changing market, traditional banks will have to adapt their operating models. In particular, changes in IT, new products and services development, and changing expectations for time-to-market will be key factors going forward.
Perhaps the most important step, however, is that banking in the digital age requires a drastic, profound reset of how banking staff reacts to customer needs. This means thinking customer first, rather than by channel; as one panelist puts it, "Banks think in channels, but customers don't." It means being conscious that small digital players can gain market share faster and in a manner that is more disruptive to traditional banks' models. It means understanding that organizational silos pose significant obstacles to creating new solutions for customers. Most importantly, it means looking inward, changing organizational beliefs and habits to facilitate clients and drive digital innovation.
A new spirit of banking—led by top executives—will lead the way to addressing market changes, becoming more agile, and improving openness in day-to-day business.

Emerging Trends in Financial Market for 2022ijtsrd
In 2022 we can expect to see banking and payments evolve even faster. The speed of digital transformation, new means of payment, and transformations brought by Open Finance are a few of the factors shaping this changing scenario and guiding trends in the financial market. But why is it worth paying attention to trends in the financial market : It’s because they allow us to predict upcoming scenarios in a world in constant flux and help both incumbents and fintech companies to align the development of their solutions with the latest innovations in the banking and payments sector. We always have our feelers out to make sure we’re keeping pace of these trends, and one source we often rely on is the futurist and researcher Amy Webb, Director of The Future Today Institute, from New York University’s Stern School of Business. Every year, she presents the Tech Trends Report, an essential reference on the trends set to shape the future and likely to dictate how companies do business from now on. The 15th Tech Trends Report was launched at this year’s SXSW, indicating some strategic trends in technology and including a section with insights for payments. The European Unemployment Puzzle: implications from population agingGRAPE
We study the link between the evolving age structure of the working population and unemployment. We build a large new Keynesian OLG model with a realistic age structure, labor market frictions, sticky prices, and aggregate shocks. Once calibrated to the European economy, we quantify the extent to which demographic changes over the last three decades have contributed to the decline of the unemployment rate. Our findings yield important implications for the future evolution of unemployment given the anticipated further aging of the working population in Europe. We also quantify the implications for optimal monetary policy: lowering inflation volatility becomes less costly in terms of GDP and unemployment volatility, which hints that optimal monetary policy may be more hawkish in an aging society. Finally, our results also propose a partial reversal of the European-US unemployment puzzle due to the fact that the share of young workers is expected to remain robust in the US.

Currently there are no website or exchange that allow buying or selling of pi coins..
But you can still easily sell pi coins, by reselling it to exchanges/crypto whales interested in holding thousands of pi coins before the mainnet launch.
Who is a pi merchant?
A pi merchant is someone who buys pi coins from miners and resell to these crypto whales and holders of pi..
This is because pi network is not doing any pre-sale. The only way exchanges can get pi is by buying from miners and pi merchants stands in between the miners and the exchanges.
How can I sell my pi coins?
Selling pi coins is really easy, but first you need to migrate to mainnet wallet before you can do that. I will leave the telegram contact of my personal pi merchant to trade with.

Rise of open source digital banking in creating value chain economies
1. Rise of Open Source Digital Banking in Creating Value Chain Economies
1
Introduction:
In the Euro Banking Associations May 2016 article on “Understanding the business relevance of Open APIs
and Open Banking for banks”, open APIs and open banking, commonly known as open source digital banking
services, are digital financial services platforms whereby solution providers, operating under one brand name,
support the value chain financial ecosystems.According to Allied MarketResearchJuly 2020 report, the global
digital banking platform industry is projected to hit US$10.87 billion by 2027. Globally, there will be gradual
shifting towards all-digital banking platforms, driven partially by increasing number of internet users and the
growth of value chain ecosystems.
Open Source Digital Banking, Digital Monies, and Digital Value Chain Economies:
More governments are fast-tracking their national plans to promote innovations and to transform their
economies to go digital and to integrate value chain ecosystems with other global economies. One of the key
components to support this digital transformation journeys is to turn physical money into digital that can be
used to sustain digital value chain economies by supporting other digital value chain economic platforms.
There are growing voices and discussions in creating digital currencies among governments and potential
alliances with other governments, such as those in the European Union, to support cross-border digital
currencies’ flows. The controversies surrounding Libra, a form of permissioned blockchain digital currency
proposed by U.S. social media company Facebook, Inc, remains a catalyst for governments around the world
to create their own national digital currencies.
Impact on existing workforce and demand for newskillsets:
For professionals who are working in the banking and financial services sectors, this calls for a major mind-
shift to be a key differentiator among bankers who are used to relying on traditional banking platforms,
processes and tools to support their works. Are bankers working in departments providing open source digital
services to their customers are to be regarded as digital bankers? Are the information technology developers
working on open source digital banking platforms to create digital products and services regarded as digital
bankers? My answerto this question is both: the next generation of bankersshall play the hybrid role of bankers
and developers. They shall base on customer requirements to create and to provide digital banking products
and services to cater to client requirements. Currently, due to the global lack of talent and digital skillsets as
highlighted the World Economic Forum: The Future of Jobs Report 2018, the lower barriers of entry, vis-à-
vis the traditional banking market, make this an attractive career paths for new and mid-career professionals
and to offer them quicker career progression paths.
Adoption ofOpen Source Technologies:
Consumers should always look for great technologies employed by open source digital banks whose founders
clearly know and understand exactly what their technology strategies can work for them. The same holds true
for open source digital banks whereby they should focus on the effective use of design thinking, artificial
intelligence, and how the use of data extensively, instead of relying on traditional performance metrics. Open
source digital banks who deploy emerging technologies such as machine learning, blockchain technologies,
advanced algorithms or artificial intelligence are standouts among the crowds. With the recent bankruptcies
by many traditional brick-and-mortar corporations operating in the global travel, tourism and retail sectors, the
motivation for their financiers to go digital and adopting open source technologies has been accelerated even
further and that momentum does not seemsto stop, as the global economic fallout from the pandemic situations
continue to impact on the banks’ balance sheets.
Disruptive, Open Source Digital Strategies:
2. Rise of Open Source Digital Banking in Creating Value Chain Economies
2
How open source digital banks manage their own disruptive digital strategies speak volumes of their
capabilities to leverage on their open source digital technological platforms to provide unique products and
services to their clients. It is among some of the key differentiating factors separate open source digital banks
from traditional banks, and from the rest of their own digital competitors. One of the best indicators I have
found for open source digital banks who have successfully applying their disruptive strategies is to examine
their open source digital strategies matching the value propositions offer vis-à-vis their traditional banking
competitors. Some of these indicators include the emerging technologies being deployed on their open source
digital platforms, the number and the profile of customers accessing their various open source digital channels
and solutions, and their transparency in fees and charges levied on their customers.
Conclusion:
Asmore countries and governments are moving towardsthe digital age, the role of open source digital banking
providers will play an increasingly important role in supporting global value chain economies that will be able
to connect with other economy platforms in this new era of open source digital economies. But the most
important of all, are the abilities of the workforce to be able to manage and to adaptto transformational changes
to keep up with these changes for the good of themselves and for the economies they are working in.
