for a crowd of up to 10k. Rimi has won various competitions including Indaba Music
Production Competition from the US for her song ‘Cold Outside’, has performed in
reputable charity events such as Paul Ewing’s (who wrote the song ‘Love Eternally’ for
His Majesty The King of Thailand) 'Light of Hope’ charity concert for World Visions UK,
and was appointed to be the assistant choir director and a special guest performer at
‘The Color Of One’ charity concert for Baan Than Namchai orphanage, sponsored by

managed to work as an artist while studying Economics/Environmental Studies, Music
minor in Washington State. The band performed at various concerts and shows around
Washington State and toured in the Northwest after the release of their ‘ Found It’
album. Rimi has been in prestigious choirs/acapella groups (performing for the Princess
of Thailand, huge private events etc), recording and performing throughout her school
and college years and continues choir directing - teaching/fostering young singers and

She’s come a long way since her 6 year old self, being born into a Thai-Indian
family , singing shabads (hymns) and indian songs with family and friends; performing in
Gurdwara (temple) and growing from that to several other genre and styles that defines
her now. She has a certificate in semi-classical raag training to enhance her kirtan
singing during her younger years. Rimi plays the harmonium and guitar to accompany
her singing. She connects to India through bollywood movies, bollywood soundtracks
and her regular visits to family in Punjab. She connects to the western world and culture
through all her life adventures and experiences. Rimi will keep connecting to places she
has spends her years growing up in -using her different cultural backgrounds to her
