A widow whose husband was a prophet had her two sons taken by a creditor to be slaves. She came to Elisha asking for help, though she had nothing except a small jar of olive oil. Elisha told her to borrow empty jars from neighbors and pour the oil from her small jar into them. Miraculously, the oil kept pouring and filling all the jars until they were sold to pay off her debts, providing for her and her sons' needs. The story illustrates that when one offers what little they have to God in faith, He can provide abundantly beyond what is needed.
