Summary
I have been in transportation for over 20 years beginning as a driver and working my way into
operations management in 2001 and most recently as the intermodal coordinator for the south
west. I have experience in working with the Long Beach port area as a planner and driver leader
for the ocean container division. The two years I served as Board Chair for the Swift
Transportation community grants division of Swift Charities was the greatest honor I had and I
wished it would have continued. We were able to support large efforts such as the helping the
community of Yarnell Hill to rebuild after the fire destroyed the town and approving $250000
toward the rebuilding effort. Also meeting with a local genetic lab to present a large check to
support their efforts.
