• Close liaison with the Govt. Deptt., including Ministry of Industry, Ministry of commerce,
FBR, EDB, BOI, and MOF to defend and propagate the interest and image of the
organization. .
• To gather and analyses of data regarding economy, finance, commerce, investment and
customs and give useful suggestion to the management for their policy and strategy making
process.
• Office in-charge of Regional Office Rawalpindi regarding administration matters and
makes sure the discipline in the office and adherence to company rules and regulations.
• Make special arrangement for CEO visit to Government Deptt. including his protocol,
appointment with high Govt officials and ministers etc.
• Act as a liaison between Head Office and the Regional Office Rawalpindi and assist them in
corporate affairs and Admin matters.
Regional Compliance Coordinator for Central & North Region:
Atlas Bank Ltd-Islamabad Branch.

• Scrutiny of Corporate and SME exposure in light of Prudential Regulations for
Corporate /Commercial and for SMEs.
• Oversee all aspects of Anti Money Laundering measures at the branches in those cases
which are assigned by Central Monitoring Units (HO) for further investigation.
• Monitoring and reporting of suspicious transactions to the Head of Compliance as per
procedures lay down by the Bank as per Compliance Manual.
• Act as a liaison between Head Office and the Northern & Central Regions and assist them
in mitigation of regulatory and image risk
• Timely submission of accurate reports / information to SBP and other regulatory
authorities (where direct submission is required) and submission of such reports to Head
Office for consolidation and onward submission to SBP and other regulatory authorities.
• To ensure the compliance of the following branch retail operations in accordance with SBP
Prudential Regulations / instructions AND Bank’s own policy :
1- Notifications on Branch Notice Board / Cash Counter / Br. Premises
2- Cash Department 3- WHT/FED Deductions
4- Utility Bills Payment 5- ATM Operations
6- Locker’s Operations 7- Keys & Combinations
8- Cheque Return / Stop Payment 9- Cheque Book Issuance
10- TDR Procedures and its KYC
11- Zakat Deduction / Exemption and related record.
12- Staff record, customer’s complaint facility / procedures, premises security and
Other Branches miscellaneous record.
• Reporting of pending exceptions found in above-mentioned retail operations to Branch /
Regional Management with a copy to Head of Compliance and keeping follow-up for
rectifications with risk evaluation of violations.
• Provide Feedback to HO regarding the new policy implementation in light of regulatory
framework. Moreover providing continuous suggestions to HOD to rectify loopholes in the
existing policies which were observed during branch visits.
• Any other assignment / investigation as per the instructions of Head of Regulatory
Compliance Deptt. / Head of Anti-Money Laundering Deptt. And /or directly from Head
of Compliance & Ops Risk Group on the light of Compliance Programme as well as SBP
Prudential Regulations.
Senior Officer-Credit Administration Department on Country wide Basis:
Atlas Investment Bank Limited Head Office-Karachi (Atlas Investment Bank Limited was an Atlas
Group Company and a leading investment Bank in Pakistan)
(June 2004 To June 2006)
 Credit Administration of funded & non-funded portfolio of about Rs.2.0 billion
consisting of 200 active clients including Term Finance and Leasing Portfolio.
 Scrutinizing of legal documentations of all credit facilities as per the Credit Policy of the
Bank. Coordinates with accounts department for reconciliation of Credit Portfolio of
the Bank.
 Administration of Non-fund Portfolio of Rs.600m including Trusteeship,
Underwriting etc.
 Coordination with branches for the approval of Credit Facilities from competent
authority and subsequently responsible for disbursement after audit & obtaining the
required documents in accordance with SBP’s Prudential Regulations and Credit Policy
of the Bank. Coordinate with internal and external auditors for the audit of Credit
portfolio.
 Processing of maturities and early terminations of term finance and leasing customer’s
facilities.
 Maintained the complete record of Credit Files and legal documents of all customers on
country basis.
 Monitoring of Credit Portfolio i.e. security margin, change of floating rates, Inspections
of loan assets / pledged security, sending reminders/debit notes for the timely recovery
of dues. Monitoring of Stock reports, Insurance policies of the Credit portfolio.
 Responsible for issuance of NOCs to financial Institutions for up
gradation/registration/vacation of customer’s registered charge with SECP.
 Monthly CIB reporting of the Credit Portfolio to State Bank of Pakistan.
Junior Officer-Corporate Finance Department:
Atlas Investment Bank Limited-Karachi Head Office
(March 2002 To June 2004)
 Independently handling 9.0 million disbursement per month of vendor bill discounting
facility for the vendor of Atlas Honda Ltd
 Credit Administration (CAD) of Corporate Finance Department: -
i. Credit Administration of funded & non-funded portfolio of about Rs.300.0
million consisting of 60 clients including term finance, underwriting,
trusteeship, syndication portfolio.
ii. Maintains correct record of Insurance, Stock Reports of CF portfolio, record of
all necessary documents in view of SBP Audit and Bank’s Credit Policies.
Coordinates with accounts department for reconciliation of all CF accounts in
Karachi. Call CIB Reports and have complete record of CIB Data of Corporate
Finance Department.
iii. Process maturity and early repayment of term financing for the final
Settlement of all outstanding dues.
iv. Process Disbursement of new Corporate Finance clients after audit & obtaining
the required documents.
v. Sending reminders/debit notes for the timely recovery of dues.
vi. Execute Legal Documents of term Financing & Bill Discounting facilities.
Ensure optimum legal coverage in pre & post disbursement scenarios.
vii. Responsible for recovery of dues from bill discounting clients, report to the
management in case of any over-dues of Corporate Finance client.

 Responsible for legal documentation of funded & non-founded facilities of Karachi Br.,
recovery of mark-up, principal & other dues from the client.
 Independently Handling Vendor Bill Discounting Facility for the vendor/supplier of

 Responsible to increase the portfolio of vendor bill discounting facility by introducing at
