Jesus entrusted his message to 12 disciples: Andrew, Bartholomew, James son of Zebedee, James son of Alphaeus, Judas Iscariot, Jude, Matthew, Peter, Phillip, Simon, and Thomas. He gave his disciples eternal life, God's name, God's words, God's protection, joy amid opposition, truth, a mission to spread the gospel, intimacy with God, a share in his glory, and his covenant love. Jesus provided his disciples with everything they would need for their discipleship.
