Runs for Ayothaya is an infinite running game played using Kinect for exercise. The game has various stages of increasing difficulty where the player controls a character to run, dodge obstacles, and collect gems and items. A mobile app tracks real running distances and converts it to in-game points to purchase equipment upgrades. The top scores are displayed on the rankings screen. Gameplay involves navigating menus with hand gestures or buttons to select stages and control the character through running, jumping, and sliding motions.

What is RfA (Runs for Ayothaya)?
RfA is an infinite running game played by using Kinect to control the game. You
can play the game and exercise at the same time.
Download and install
● Go to this link and download
● Click download RfA.zip to download the game
● After finishing, extract the zip file. The RfA icon will show on the screen
● For the Android app download RfA.apk and install in your Android device

1. Set up your Kinect following the Microsoft Kinect instructions.
2. Double click game icon( ) and play!

1. Enter your username

3. Click the Login button to play the game with your account
4. Click the Demo play button to play the game as a guest
5. Click the Exit button to leave the game

Start Go to the stage selection screen

Rank Go to the ranking screen

5. State selection
There are 4 available stages to play (including the tutorial). the state order by the
easiest to hardest . The stages are ordered from easiest to hardest. The currently
selected stage will display in the center of the screen.

Control the boy to run forward, dodge obstacles, collect gems, collect items and
run as long as you can. There are three lanes (Figure 1). To dodge obstacles or
collect items, move to the other lanes or jump. When you hit obstacles your
health points will decrease by one. When you run out of health points the game
will end and show the result of the game. In this screen, you also see the calories
that you’ve burned, too (Figure 2).

You can download another application for Android devices. The application will
track your distance when you go running, and convert it to points. You can use
your points to buy equipment. Different items of equipment will affect the
character status differently. Go to www.runsforayothaya.psu.ac.th to buy items.
To equip items, go to the Item screen.
