4. (RME) adalah sebuah pendekatan belajar matematika yang menempatkan
permasalahan matematika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sehingga mempermudah
siswa menerima materi dan memberikan pengalaman langsung dengan
pengalaman mereka sendiri. Masalah-masalah realistis digunakan sebagai
sumber munculnya konsep-konsep atau pengetahuan matematika formal, dimana
siswa diajak bagaimana cara berpikir menyelesaikan masalah, mencari masalah,
dan mengorganisasi pokok persoalan.

8. - Pada tahap inti dilaksanakan pembelajaran
dengan menggunakan pendekatan RME dengan
tahap-tahapnya yaitu tahap pendahuluan, tahap
pengembangan model simbolik, tahap penjelasan
dan alasan, dan tahap penutup. Serta pada
kegiatan akhir dilaksanakan penyimpulan
pelajaran dan pemberian evaluasi pada siswa.
- Hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 018 Langgini
Bangkinang Kota setelah mengikuti Pembelajaran
penjumlahan pecahan berpenyebut tidak sama
dengan menggunakan pendekatan RME
meningkat. Berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa dari
pra tindakan siklus I ke siklus II meningkat
sebanyak 75%.
