This document provides information about RETH¿NK, a company that creates clothing and accessories made from recycled plastic bottles. RETH¿NK's mission is to make innovative, high quality products from recycled materials. The company was founded in 2008 by apparel industry veterans. RETH¿NK transforms used plastic bottles into new clothing items through a process of cleaning, crushing, melting and reusing the recycled polyester. They offer a variety of clothing items made from recycled polyester including t-shirts, sweatshirts and polos. RETH¿NK also has a bottle collection program called the RETH¿NK Circle to further educate about sustainability.

RETH¿NK’s mission is to create quality products that are innovative, made from recycled waste and brought
to life with a simple story. We are making a difference for the future and bringing recycled technology into the
mainstream.

RETH¿NK started in 2008 by a group of apparel industry veterans with over 30 years experience in the out-
door market. Our story begins with a bottle count. Our focus is in creating quality clothes and accessories
made from recycled polyester. In other words plastic waste.
RETH¿NK down-cycles a used up bottle into something new, perhaps a t-shirt or a bag – rethinking the
material state and purpose.

Because we make a difference rethinking plastic waste.
Our products are all certified and traceable and we adhere to exceptionally high manufacturing and social
compliance standards. Along with the extensive research and development we offer a quality product, that
looks and feels like nothing else you have worn. RETH¿NK Basic was created with the most demanding
customer in mind.
WHY RECYCLED POLYESTER PET?
• Recycling 1 ton of PET containers saves 7.4 cubic yards of landfill space
• Every pound of rPET flake used reduces energy use by 84% and greenhouse gases by 71%
• Only 7% of all plastic generated in 2009 was recovered for recycling
• When you recycle 1 plastic bottle you save 6 hours of energy from a 60 watt light bulb
• 90% less water is used in making recycled polyester versus virgin polyester

OUR PROCESS
Our garments are made from recycled bottles. They are cleaned,
smashed, melted and reused. This is how RETH¿NK is made.
RETH¿NK CIRCLE
In addition to incorporating recycled polyester apparel in your next corporate event, take it a step further
and consider the RETH¿NK circle. The RETH¿NK Circle is a program that recognizes that sustainability
goes beyond fabrics and apparel.
The RETH¿NK Circle allows you to educate and demonstrate to your audience where the “raw material” of
RETHINK FABRIC comes from.
At any event, RETH¿NK will work with your company to collect, weigh and recycle the plastic bottles while
educating the audience on the amount of apparel that will be made from collection at the event.
The RETH¿NK Circle gives you the opportunity to offer your employees and community participation in a
program that enhances the storytelling of the RETH¿NK product offered at the event. In addition, it helps
showcase and tell a positive story about your companies commitment to a more sustainable world.
