EXPERIENCES GAINED:
1. Technical skill is improved as I am able to prepare quality technical works and stabilize the
system using correct technical way to develop system and do some performance tuning.
2. Right and effective way to support. Always try to find a short term solution if the issue cannot
be simulated or solved within 1 to 2 hours.
3. Oversee all the possible way and threat to create a better solution which is able to cover most
of scenarios.
4. Independent and minimal supervision on support system, system development, meeting with
clients, Change Request or hotfix briefing, system rollout and etc.
5. Quick thinker in critical situation after 2 years support system working experience.
6. Have knowledge of FMCG (Fast-Moving-Consumer-Good) business operation.
7. Trained to have SOP (Standard Operation Protocol) implemented to improve consistence and
effectiveness in our daily work. For example, mantis created for every single issue.

ACCOMPLISHMENT:
1. Successfully implement system rollout for Nestle project South Africa market and Unza MY
distributor.
2. Handle Unza project individually as a technical lead. Distributor system rollout, system
briefing, hotfix, bug fix, deployment, develop, issue simulation, finding root cause and
solution.
3. Stabilize the Nestle project by going through system logic correction, performance tuning and
clear communication among helpdesk, project, QA and client.
4. I have successfully performedfew times server migration when there is insufficient on server
hard disk space or server memory or hard disk failure.
5. Able to assist Technical Manager in Change Request advice, support mantis, meeting with
clients and within Accenture team.
Details Working Descriptions :
Currently my position is to enhance and support their current system which is DMS
(Distributor Management System) for Nestle project and handle Unza project myself only as a
technical lead and sometimes involved to other project within some periods. Beside handles
technical things, I do have experience on two times system rollout in two different projects
(Johannesburg, South Africa for Nestle Project and Sungai Petani, Kedah for Unza project). Carry
on system module training,capture requirement/defect log and hyper-care session when go live
for system implementation. It gives me a lot of knowledge for business logic as I have opportunity
to have a lot of conversations with Nestle Regional Business Application Specialist and some Unza
company leaders such as North Regional Branch Manager.
The project I involve the most throughout my career is Nestle project which is one of
biggest customers in company. In my first year, I have been assigned to do enhancement according
to ECP (Engineering Change Proposal). Then I fully concentrate on supporting the current system
under Nestle project. After one to two years times on level 1, 2 and 3 support experience, I started
to have opportunities to guide new joiner no matter is technical skill, technical analysis or product
knowledge. Then slowly I frequently have to attend CR/ hotfix technical and business impact
analysis, sessions among client, project, QA and technical team and I am honor also to have
chance to discuss on existing logic and provide right solution to client through call, email and even
go to client side.
ECP can be an enhancement on interface, business logic change, report (SSRS), print
template such as sales order print layout, modules in DMS (Distribution Management System) for
instance order, invoice, pick list, inventory and etc. or handheld app system (JavaScript) which is
the mobile system to allow salesman to do their daily basis work such as sales and collection.
Besides, I also do data migration to migrate data into system using technique of bulk insert to
insert data to database directly. And I do have experiences on server migration which is migration
database and application from server to another server.
Then, I began to have more opportunities to provide solutions or methods on ECP rather
than just an executor to do the ECP accordingly, performance tuning (Checking on execution
plan and applying index if needed) and etc. And I am able to lead some new team mates and give
them guides to do their own tasks. Programming language that used for DMS and handheld app are
C# and java script but under their own development tool and framework as well to build web-
based and handheld system. After that, I take over the responsibility to support the DMS system
since I have much more experiences on existing DMS business logic and mature technique skill of
C#, Store procedure, java script and reporting service. With this role, I learned to be quick thinker
while critical moment like cannot confirm invoice. I have to quickly find out the root cause and
find a right workaround to make sure that there is no extra delay time for user to move on their
daily basis transaction. This is where I have chance to deal with client about existing system logic,
discuss and provide some valuable answer to fulfill their business need by using the system.
Undoubtedly, it is quite stressful when you need to handle so many urgent issues and solve it
as much as possible. But, it is good for learning stage as long as it is well planned. That is why I
always try my best to discuss with my supervisor and project manager about how to find out the
right solution and adequate timeline to handle the issues raised by users. So, normally I will discuss
with helpdesk as well to prioritize those needed solved issues and solve it according to our own set
of time schedule. Undeniably, we cannot achieve what we target for daily work when there are
some top urgent issues like failure of generating pick list or HHT upgrade. Issue simulation and
finding root cause is the first thing to do when I am doing the customer support. I do have weekly
meeting with client IT team (From Switzland and India team) to discuss issue and we need to
provide root cause and solution. With this opportunity, I become more minimal supervised and
independent.
Start from last year, company hired a technical manager which is currently my technical
manager. He imposed a lot SOP (Standard Operation Procedure) to treat us more persistent,
precise, and accurate and more consistent way to do our job. For example, we need to prepare SDA
doc for each hotfix or enhancement deployment to production or pre-production environment.
After deployed, we need to send out email to inform helpdesk, project team, technical team and
user about the deployment. It trains us to be more procedural and follow the right way to work.
Every time there is a release coding change to QA, there must be a mantis created and a must
briefing on impact analysis and business logic change to QA team to carry on testing and email sent
out to helpdesk, technical team project and QA team. So, everyone is aware and knows how to
proceed with their current tasks and avoid some duplicated or redundant work. Beside this, I have
gone through client data protection process and nestle project audit process. A lot of things we
need to comply in order to pass in their audit examination. For example, we need to make sure there
is no real product description or customer name inside our local database. And there is only
dedicated person can approve team member to do any access into the application and database
server by going through a proper server access approval request.
As for summarize of my working experience with my personality and characteristic, I have
good working attitude as I am responsible, initiative, minimal supervised, precise, quick learner,
more prone to team work, love knowledge sharing when there is an opportunity. Something I need
the most for now is opportunity and exposure to know how to handle a project overall no matter is
within project, technical, QA and helpdesk or among client. Feedback I get from my career
counsellor and technical manager in last performance review, I need to more aggressive as they
expect me to be more outspoken in some email which I can also provide some valuable information.
It can make me to be more impressive and outstanding. I take note of it. I do have mature technical
skill, no issue to pick up new technical skill, have better understanding on business logic and
product knowledge in FMCG (Fast Merchandizing Consumer Good). I can brief product knowledge
and business logic and I am ready for my next career level.

Working Descriptions :
During my internship in THETA Service Partner Sdn. Bhd., I have learned how to use
eclipse software development tool to create the user interface and write the function by using ZK
framework and JAVA programming language. The database of the system is ORACLE database.
Normally, I and other trainees did not deal with ORACLE database. Basically, what we need to do
is to re-create the user interface of the current system that used strut framework and modify the
function that can communicate with the current framework which is ZK framework that the
internship company wants to use it to replace the strut framework. So, I have learned a lot of
technique to write a JAVA function and how to fully utilize the function provided by JAVA. It helps
me a lot in my final year project and I can provide more useful functions and make my program
more maintainable and flexible after the internship training.

Details Working Descriptions : Currently my position is to enhance and support their current system which is DMS (Distributor Management System) for Nestle project and handle Unza project myself only as a technical lead and sometimes involved to other project within some periods. Beside handles technical things, I do have experience on two times system rollout in two different projects (Johannesburg, South Africa for Nestle Project and Sungai Petani, Kedah for Unza project). Carry on system module training,capture requirement/defect log and hyper-care session when go live for system implementation. It gives me a lot of knowledge for business logic as I have opportunity to have a lot of conversations with Nestle Regional Business Application Specialist and some Unza company leaders such as North Regional Branch Manager. The project I involve the most throughout my career is Nestle project which is one of biggest customers in company. In my first year, I have been assigned to do enhancement according to ECP (Engineering Change Proposal). Then I fully concentrate on supporting the current system under Nestle project. After one to two years times on level 1, 2 and 3 support experience, I started to have opportunities to guide new joiner no matter is technical skill, technical analysis or product knowledge. Then slowly I frequently have to attend CR/ hotfix technical and business impact
  • 7. analysis, sessions among client, project, QA and technical team and I am honor also to have chance to discuss on existing logic and provide right solution to client through call, email and even go to client side. ECP can be an enhancement on interface, business logic change, report (SSRS), print template such as sales order print layout, modules in DMS (Distribution Management System) for instance order, invoice, pick list, inventory and etc. or handheld app system (JavaScript) which is the mobile system to allow salesman to do their daily basis work such as sales and collection. Besides, I also do data migration to migrate data into system using technique of bulk insert to insert data to database directly. And I do have experiences on server migration which is migration database and application from server to another server. Then, I began to have more opportunities to provide solutions or methods on ECP rather than just an executor to do the ECP accordingly, performance tuning (Checking on execution plan and applying index if needed) and etc. And I am able to lead some new team mates and give them guides to do their own tasks. Programming language that used for DMS and handheld app are C# and java script but under their own development tool and framework as well to build web- based and handheld system. After that, I take over the responsibility to support the DMS system since I have much more experiences on existing DMS business logic and mature technique skill of C#, Store procedure, java script and reporting service. With this role, I learned to be quick thinker while critical moment like cannot confirm invoice. I have to quickly find out the root cause and find a right workaround to make sure that there is no extra delay time for user to move on their daily basis transaction. This is where I have chance to deal with client about existing system logic, discuss and provide some valuable answer to fulfill their business need by using the system. Undoubtedly, it is quite stressful when you need to handle so many urgent issues and solve it as much as possible. But, it is good for learning stage as long as it is well planned. That is why I always try my best to discuss with my supervisor and project manager about how to find out the right solution and adequate timeline to handle the issues raised by users. So, normally I will discuss with helpdesk as well to prioritize those needed solved issues and solve it according to our own set
  • 8. of time schedule. Undeniably, we cannot achieve what we target for daily work when there are some top urgent issues like failure of generating pick list or HHT upgrade. Issue simulation and finding root cause is the first thing to do when I am doing the customer support. I do have weekly meeting with client IT team (From Switzland and India team) to discuss issue and we need to provide root cause and solution. With this opportunity, I become more minimal supervised and independent. Start from last year, company hired a technical manager which is currently my technical manager. He imposed a lot SOP (Standard Operation Procedure) to treat us more persistent, precise, and accurate and more consistent way to do our job. For example, we need to prepare SDA doc for each hotfix or enhancement deployment to production or pre-production environment. After deployed, we need to send out email to inform helpdesk, project team, technical team and user about the deployment. It trains us to be more procedural and follow the right way to work. Every time there is a release coding change to QA, there must be a mantis created and a must briefing on impact analysis and business logic change to QA team to carry on testing and email sent out to helpdesk, technical team project and QA team. So, everyone is aware and knows how to proceed with their current tasks and avoid some duplicated or redundant work. Beside this, I have gone through client data protection process and nestle project audit process. A lot of things we need to comply in order to pass in their audit examination. For example, we need to make sure there is no real product description or customer name inside our local database. And there is only dedicated person can approve team member to do any access into the application and database server by going through a proper server access approval request. As for summarize of my working experience with my personality and characteristic, I have good working attitude as I am responsible, initiative, minimal supervised, precise, quick learner, more prone to team work, love knowledge sharing when there is an opportunity. Something I need the most for now is opportunity and exposure to know how to handle a project overall no matter is within project, technical, QA and helpdesk or among client. Feedback I get from my career counsellor and technical manager in last performance review, I need to more aggressive as they expect me to be more outspoken in some email which I can also provide some valuable information.

I do have mature technical skill, no issue to pick up new technical skill, have better understanding on business logic and product knowledge in FMCG (Fast Merchandizing Consumer Good). I can brief product knowledge and business logic and I am ready for my next career level.

Bhd., I have learned how to use eclipse software development tool to create the user interface and write the function by using ZK framework and JAVA programming language. The database of the system is ORACLE database. Normally, I and other trainees did not deal with ORACLE database. Basically, what we need to do is to re-create the user interface of the current system that used strut framework and modify the function that can communicate with the current framework which is ZK framework that the internship company wants to use it to replace the strut framework. So, I have learned a lot of technique to write a JAVA function and how to fully utilize the function provided by JAVA. It helps me a lot in my final year project and I can provide more useful functions and make my program more maintainable and flexible after the internship training.
