Objective: To obtain a challenging position in a professional environment where I
would be able to utilize and grow my engineering skills to better help the
company.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, June 2015
• University of California, Riverside
• GPA: 3.2
• GPA Chemical Engineering (Upper Division): 3.5
• Deans List Fall 2013
• Relevant Coursework: Chemical Process Analysis, Fluid Mechanics,
Analytical Chemistry, Thermodynamics, Mass Transfer, Heat Transfer,
Engineering Kinetics, Organic Chemistry, Engineering Modeling,
Catalytic Reaction Engineering, Chemistry of Materials, Separation
Processes, Process Control, Catalytic Reaction Engineering, Green
Engineering, Senior Design
Experience: Engineering Modeling: Salton Sea Analysis, Fall 2013
• Worked with a team to predict sea level and salt concentration of the
Salton Sea, taking multiple scenarios of various environmental plans and
proposed laws into account
• Used MATLAB to develop a 3-dimensional model of the Sea topography
• Plotted data in Excel to determine correlations between values
• Developed MATLAB functions to calculate and plot trend lines to
describe the found values
Senior Design Project: Lab Scale Distillation Column Design, Winter
2014-Spring 2015
• Worked with a team to design a distillation column to be marketed to
Universities as an undergraduate lab demonstration unit.
• Used Pro II and Superpro to simulate possible designs and conditions
• Ran cost analysis and came up with multiple prototypes to develop the
most economical unit possible
• Created a cost effective alternative to the demonstration units that are
currently being used by Universities.
