RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Retuit - Customer Care System for the Jewelry domain (Wave InfoTech).
A system designed and developed considering the requirements of a Jewelry merchandise in US. This
module (of an ERP),keeps track of existing customer's interests into jewelry, their latest buying trends
and based on these information, proposals of newer products is send to them. The system also keeps track
of the different events in the lives of the customers like Birthday's, Anniversary's etc. and accordingly
newer proposals are send to them on the respective day.
Tools utilized: -
• For Development - C#.NET 3.0,ASP.NET 4.5,JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, AJAX,WCF Services
AND SQL Server 2008.
Responsibilities: -
• Designing user interfaces and implementing the server and client side logic needed to maintain
the page.
• Coding internal logic in the business layer such as to maintain business specifications.
• Designing and developing the database that would store the client data.
• Fixing bugs as well as code review and refactoring wherever possible.
Vacancy Filler - Recruitment Software (Iantz IT Solutions).
An online application which automates the entire process of recruitment. The process involves user
creating a Job Advert which is then linked to the candidates that the system finds match it. The candidate
information is obtained from different job portals by parsing resumes of the candidates and converting it
into a format that is understood by the application and then finally saved into the database. Once a
candidate is found as a match for the Job Advert, he/she along with the customer who originally posted
the Job advert are then intimated. It is up to the customer whether to proceed from there or not. If yes,
then that process is also undertaken by the application in the succeeding steps.
Tools utilized: -
• For Development - VB.NET,ASP.NET 4.0,HTML,XML, JavaScript, JQuery,CSS, AJAX,
WCF Services, SQL Server 2008, DevExpress control suite and third party components.
• For Reporting - Reporting Services (SSRS).
Responsibilities: -
• Undertook the entire responsibility of severalmodules for the Recruitment software.
• Client interaction to gather requirement of the new feature,application or module.
• Implementation of the new application, module or feature,which included all the level of
development starting from the database layer going up to data layer and business layer and finally
the page level coding, which included templating of the page, server side coding and client side
coding.
• Testing of the new development both in the developer level on my local machine and then
deploying the same on the staging demo server and staging live server for the testing team to get
on with it.
• Coordinated with the entire team of Vacancy Filler and made sure that all the features
implemented by me are delivered.
• Coordinated with the testing team and made sure that all the bugs were fixed and that the product
delivered had quality.
• Drafting of supporting documents for the new feature implemented for future references.
• Some of the modules that were mainly developed were:
• Customer CRM – A module that helped the sales team at Vacancy Filler to keep track of existing
customers and find new customers. The entire development and then maintenance (further
changes, new features were undertaken by me).
• Agency CRM – A module which allowed the Customer or the sales people at Vacancy Filler
working on behalf of the customer to keep track of recruitment agencies.
• Customer Settings – Was a module which was accessible to only admin users. This module
allowed the admin to provide settings for individual customers based on which customers were
granted access for the various modules and features provided by the system.
• Also, worked on severalsmall projects that represented individual features in existing modules of
the recruitment software.
HRM – Human Resource Management software (Iantz IT Solutions - Product).
An online application which manages human resource for an organization. It handles all aspects of human
resource such as attendance,payroll, leave management etc.
Tools utilized: -
• For Development– C#.NET,ASP.NET3.5, HTML, XML, JavaScript,JQuery,CSS,Ajax,SQLServer
2008.
Responsibilities: -
• Undertook the entire responsibility of severalmodules for the software.
• Implementation of the new application, module or feature, which included all the level of
development starting from the database layer going up to data layer and business layer and finally
the page level coding, which included templating of the page, server side coding and client side
coding.
• Testing of the new development both in the developer level on my local machine.
Signature Flow - Online signing application (Inncrewin technologies).
An online application for signing documents. The process involves sending a document (PDF,if not will
be converted to) out for signature to one or multiple signers. Once the document is out, it is signed by all
the parties in a serial fashion. After all the signers, have signed, the final signed document will be send to
all the parties including the sender. Even sender of the document can sign the document. The system also
provides Mail Merger feature in case the signing process involves huge number of signers where it can’t
be done through the normal send process wherein the sender is required to enter each signer information
manually. The signer info in this case is read through a CSV. Reporting also is there to check the status of
the document sent for signature (signed or not signed etc.).
Tools utilized: -
• For Development – C#.NET,ASP.NET MVC,HTML,XML, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, Ajax,
SQL Server 2008.
• For Cloud - Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities: -
• Worked on the send for signature functionality (selection of document and entering metadata,the
first step, validation of information entered and dropping of controls into the document, that is the
second step of send for signature. It was challenging as it involved Image caching for document
to load for placing the controls, object oriented jQuery for the signature controls which was
handled through a plug-in framework etc.
• Implementation of the reporting module which were categorized into three sections namely Out
for signature, Signed and All reports. Severalactions could also be performed along with
enlisting like capturing snapshot by saving into a CSV, Sort, Search - three kinds that is
advanced, individual and global. Send reminder for signing the document, update metadata
information of document among other actions.
• Unit level testing of the new development and bug fixing.
FINAL YEAR PROJECT
Undertook a Research Project Entitled ‘NUEROMORPHIC COMPUTING: HUMAN BRAIN CELL-
COMPUTER’in the final year of Engineering. Neuromorphic computing is a field of computer science
concerned with the reproduction of the functionality provided by the human brain. The idea is not to
simulate the Human Brain through computer programs, but by directly using the desired component of
the brain depending on the application in hand and providing a suitable interface to them such as to
interact with the user and the supporting computer hardware and software.
