DESIGN WORK & PROJECTS
 WATER RESOURCES PUMP DESIGN: Develop a most efficient and economical pipe/pump systemthat carried
water from a reservoir to an elevated storage tank, that was eventually delivered to a community meeting
the maximum demand of flow of 4500 gallons per minute and a head of 106 feet.
 PARK AVENUE ROAD DIET: Performed a road diet and redesigned five intersections in Ewing, NJ. Through the
use of AutoCad/MicroStation and Civil 3D— improved traffic flow by 35% and reduced accidents by 19%
 HYDROGRAPH DESIGN: A hydrologic assessment was performed on a dam to determine the peak flow of a
24hr - 100 year rain event. The HEC-HMS program was used to analyze the watershed using Snyder’s method,
SCS-Lag time method, and SCS- Time of Concentration method.
 STRUCTURAL DESIGN: A three-story office building was designed, using the loads given a complete design of
the metal deck, open-web joists, floor beams, and interior columns were provided within the given
constraints.
 FOUNDATION DESIGN: Given boring logs a soil profile was determined and bearing capacity to conclude, with
the help of SHAFT and APILE, whether drill shafts or piles were the more feasible option to support the given
load.
