EXPERIENCE
Instructing/Teaching
♦ Teach schematic level circuit theory and maintenance concepts to American and foreign
students as an electronics instructor for three years. Classes up to 24 were typically first
term Airmen. Systems include high power pulse transmitters, receivers, electronic
countermeasures, electronic counter-counter measures, anti-radiation missile decoy and
beacon interrogators. Write appraisals, progress checks, test questions and student
textbooks. (1)
♦ Teach ten different blocks of instruction on electronic theory for four years. Topics
included resistor color codes, Alternating Current and Direct Current circuit theory,
electron tube and solid state semi-conductors, radio signal transmission and reception,
radio frequency radiating element theory, transverse electromagnetic wave propagation,

2. computer processing and much more. Teach schematic level circuit theory and
maintenance concepts to American and foreign students. Write appraisals, progress

♦ Special duty assignment training officer candidates for commissioning in the Air National
Guard and Reserve. Directly involved in approving/disapproving the commissioning of
approximately 600 officer candidates per fiscal year. Mentor and instruct students
individually, in seminar, in mass classroom and in field settings effective officership and
leadership. Research and develop curriculum materials including lesson plans, briefing
slides, test questions, student study guides and other audio-visual teaching aids. (3)
Leadership/Management
♦ Lead and supervise 30 military, civil servant and contractor personnel as Command and
Control Flight Commander. Responsible for all software engineering, configurations
management, overseas theater and continental United States installation of radar data
links and terrain data surveying for obstruction masking of Federal Aviation
Administration and Department of Defense (DoD) radar sites. (4)
♦ Lead and supervise 104 military, civilian and contractor personnel as Mission Systems
Flight Commander. Manage over 4,000 equipment items valued at $25M with an annual
budget of $2.3M. Direct support in 10 work centers for navigational aids, meteorological
systems, ground radio, public address, cable plant and telephone system equipment.
Support Ogden Air Logistics Center, 75th Air Base Wing, 388th and 419th Fighter Wings,
Utah Test and Training Range and 41 associate units. Ensure overall effectiveness of
Maintenance Standardization and Evaluation Program. Serve as Disaster Control Group
lead and Casualty Notification Officer. (5)
