I was Dr. Donald Redford’s teaching assistant for CAMS 020 [Egyptian Civilization], at
Penn State University, University Park. My responsibilities included teaching the class
when the professor was unavailable, taking class attendance, proctoring exams and
quizzes, grading exams and quizzes, showing class movies, holding office hours and
study sessions, making myself available for student questioning, preparing powerpoint
presentations of relevant material for class sessions, digitizing photographs for class
powerpoint presentations, and submitting students’ cumulative grades to Dr. Donald
Redford at the end of the semester.

Work Volunteer [Several Weeks 2014]
Caregiver for grandmother. When she was placed on an experimental drug regime, I
stayed at the residence 24/7 observing my grandmother and keeping a journal detailing
the times and dates of dosages and the subsequent related reactions. Made sure she
visited the doctor whenever she had adverse effects.

Served as research assistant to Professor Vincent Colapietro in the Penn State
Department of Philosophy. I located relevant books and articles for his publications and
I edited papers and organized research notes.

Ancient Mediterranean Studies, Penn State University, University Park, which
specializes in Egyptology. Assisted Dr. Redford in categorizing archeological
discoveries from recent Egyptian excavations in addition to digitizing photographs taken
at said excavations. Aided Dr. Redford in her research for Delta Reports Research in
Lower Egypt, Volume 2, and will be credited in said book when it is published.

Laboratory assistant to Dr. K. Sandeep Prabhu’s Laboratory, Department of
Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences, Penn State University, University Park, which
specializes in immunology and toxicology. Performed lab work under the observation of
