Focused on my primary interests, I’ve chosen to enroll into the LLM: International Human Rights Law and Protection of Environment.
Not only did my choice for this program allowed me to elaborate my knowledge in these two fields, but offered also the perfect
opportunity to study the interrelation between these two. The international character of the courses combined with a multinational
environment creates the ideal atmosphere to develop my academic and professional skills.

The choice for the Catholic University of Leuven for my Masters’ degree was based on the opportunity to study Criminal law and a
wide range of optional courses and tutorials. As a complement to my major: Criminal law and minor: Public law, I focused on European,
international and human rights law, which has developed to be my primary interest in the field of law.
ERASMUS SCHOLARSHIP – Mykolas Romeris University - Vilnius, Lithuania – Aug 14 - Jan 15
Triggered by my European/international courses, I decided to take part in the Erasmus program. Six months of intensive courses in an
international environment have had the biggest impact on my personal and academic life so far. This translated to high grades, opting
for International law for future plans, international views on the studied topics and further development of my language skills. At
personal level, I started to engage and participate in multiple social programs. I taught Dutch to local and international students and
participated at Erasmus@school (teaching locals about the Belgian culture) and ErasmusSocial (social projects with locals), which
strengthened my networking and communicative skills.
