COMMUNICATION
· My class in public speaking at Appalachian Bible College gave me skills to research and design a presentation and
present it before an audience with relative ease. I learned patience in communicating through my responsibilities in
teaching non-English speaking workers at Quad Graphics the requirements of their jobs, as well as correcting poor
work. I have experience working with elderly people with severe sensory deficits through being primary care-giver for
three months for my grandparents, one deaf-blind,and mobility challenged, the other with Parkinson’s dementia.
OTHER EXPERIENCE
· Tech/Operator,Quad Graphics (98-04/06-14): Train and manage crewof three to four people to safely produce quality
bound periodicals, keeping pace to meet deadlines,multi-tasking, communicating with non-English speaking workers.
Left on good terms to pursue PTA studies.
· Assistant Sunday School Supervisor 2014-2016: Distributing class materials, attendance records, and collection monies,
assuring all teaching spots are filled, overseeing children before and between services.
