1. Summary Statement Front Page
Now that I have graduated from USF St. Petersburg with a major in marketing a minor in Economics and
International Business I am interested in pursuing a career in Advertising. Despite heavy involvement in
campus activities and a busy academic schedule I graduated on time.
My Leadership skills were acquired motivating teams to plan events that exceeded expectations and a few
that did not perform as well as we expected. Planning events that developed members' experience and
increased their awareness to the needs of charities allowed me to develop my potential and improve upon
mistakes.
Having had leadership responsibility for building and rebuilding campus organizations, I find there is small
difference between leaders with successful organizations and those surrounded by weak members
expected to contribute to strategic goals.
Personally I feel more qualified than the majority of applicants searching for an entry level position.
Experience I gained planning events, leading teams to help charities raise funding, and building
relationships within the USF St. Petersburg community have significantly contributed to my development as
a marketing major and potential member of a professional marketing team.
The value of hard work is the most important skill that I acquired during the last few years. By building
networking and leadership skills within the multiple nationally recognized organizations to which I belong I
am confident that my abilities match the job in which I am applying.
Might it be possible to meet to discuss my candidacy for a position at your company? I can be reached by
e-mail and telephone at your convenience.
