She holds an Oklahoma teaching certification in elementary education and a Bachelor of Arts in English. Baugh has extensive professional development experience in literacy, math, science, and classroom management strategies. She has received several honors for her teaching including Washington Teacher of the Year and membership in honor societies. Baugh has mentored student teachers and served on curriculum adoption committees.
