Projects Project name: Water Dip Air Leak Test Machine
Client :TV Sundaram Iyengar and Sons Limited (TVS)
Description: Water Dip Air Leak Test Machine used to detect the leak automatically by
passing air to the component when it is dipped into the water. The machine will pass
0.5bar through onside hole of the molded component and will compute the pressure by
using pressure switch in other side of the component after 2 seconds.

Project Name :Plasma Station
Client : India Japan Lightings Pvt Ltd
Description: Plasma station is used to apply flame on the housing of head lights. Plasma
station safety door will be closed automatically after placing component (Housing of
lamp) on resting blocks in the fixture. Once the safety door is closed, Fixture will move
horizontally towards the robot which applies flame and it will return to the home place
after the flame is applied. Safety door will open automatically once the Fixture returned to
the home condition and door will remains open until the component is taken from fixture.

Description: Bearing Pressing Station holds the bearing at the top fixture and armature at
the bottom fixture. Servo actuator cylinder which holds the top fixture will press the
bearing into armature shaft with 1.2 Ton force until the bearing attains its position in the
armature shaft.

• Discuss with Electrical Engineers for selecting electrical component such as actuators
and photodiode sensors
• Share customer requirements with PLC programmer to attain the required sequences.

Project Title : AIR LEAK TEST STATION
Client : VALEO LIGHTINGS, Chennai
Description: This machine has been designed to check a leakage in automotive lamps
(HL& RCL). The test is done by applying air through a breather holes of lamp& also to
check out a Customer Interface holes. On successful completion of the leak Test, the Lamp
is subjected to Light Test. Light test Station is to check Beam Direction, High Beam& low
beam of an automotive lamp whether they are as per the specifications. If the lamp fails in
any of the tests further tests are aborted and an alarm is raised.
