This document is a concept map about respiration. It shows that glucose and oxygen are absorbed into the blood from food and lungs. The heart pumps blood through arteries and capillaries where oxygen diffuses into cells and carbon dioxide diffuses out. Cells use oxygen and glucose to produce energy through aerobic respiration, while anaerobic respiration produces energy without oxygen. Carbon dioxide and water vapor are then exhaled from the lungs.
