Globalization has increased opportunities for graduates to find employment anywhere in the world. However, their employability depends on whether they can provide solutions to pressing global problems like poverty, climate change, and food and water security. Public, private, and non-governmental organizations are seeking solutions to these issues. As a result, higher education must focus programs on sustainability and climate change to remain relevant and produce graduates who can address these critical problems and find jobs globally. This research paper aims to identify programs in Botswana that will produce globally employable graduates and determine why some colleges are failing to do so currently.
