Book Formatting: Quality Control Checks for DesignersConfidence Ago
This presentation was made to help designers who work in publishing houses or format books for printing ensure quality.
Quality control is vital to every industry. This is why every department in a company need create a method they use in ensuring quality. This, perhaps, will not only improve the quality of products and bring errors to the barest minimum, but take it to a near perfect finish.
It is beyond a moot point that a good book will somewhat be judged by its cover, but the content of the book remains king. No matter how beautiful the cover, if the quality of writing or presentation is off, that will be a reason for readers not to come back to the book or recommend it.
So, this presentation points designers to some important things that may be missed by an editor that they could eventually discover and call the attention of the editor.
You could be a professional graphic designer and still make mistakes. There is always the possibility of human error. On the other hand if you’re not a designer, the chances of making some common graphic design mistakes are even higher. Because you don’t know what you don’t know. That’s where this blog comes in. To make your job easier and help you create better designs, we have put together a list of common graphic design mistakes that you need to avoid.

ABOUT
B Y J A M E S A D O R E ( E D I T O R )
INTRO
Renegades Mag is the fruit of teamwork, between very different
people, although with something in common. The desire to do
something new, join music, fashion, art, travel, interviews, radio and
much more.
It sounds like the typical initial roll of a magazine, but in our case,
being non-conformists, not finding what we would like in the market,
we decided to create it ourselves.
You may like it, you may not, but at least give you the opportunity to
be surprised.
Because in English, because we don't want to be a local Magazine, nor
focused on a geographic area, since weird people like us are all over
the world.
Wish us luck and do not hesitate to follow us on social networks and
especially on our Radio On-Line www.renegade-radio.com.
Thank you,

Huston says Yeah Girl has seen an uptick in male

that content is engaging a lot more people, not just
skateboarders. Even people who don’t skate are

The "Guggenheim effect" has become a new, widely-used expression in recent times.
Within the last 20 years, the architectural marvel on the bank of the Nervion River in Bilbao has achieved
the unexpected: It has transformed the face of a city that was believed to be lost.
Bilbao is located in the north of Spain, on the Bay of Biscay, an Atlantic gulf. From the 19th century up
until the 1970s, it was the most important industrial seaport in the Basque Country. With its strategic
access to the ocean, Bilbao's economy — based on shipbuilding, as well as coal and steel production —
was booming.
However, industries didn't adapt quickly enough to changing technical standards. The outdated
dockyards and factories had to close. Factory buildings and ironworks were abandoned. Many workers
and their families left the city, while others stayed — however, without work or perspectives for the
future.
Bilbao was also a stronghold of the Basque separatist organization ETA, which was responsible for several
terrorist attacks.
In this context, passionate art lovers were rather a rarity in the city, which is why when plans that the
ambitious cultural project would be built there were revealed, it first sounded like a bad joke.

21. Video art is an art form which relies on using video technology
as a visual and audio medium. Video art emerged during the
late 1960s as new consumer video technology such as video
tape recorders became available outside corporate
broadcasting.
Video art can take many forms: recordings that are broadcast;
installations viewed in galleries or museums; works streamed
online, distributed as video tapes, or DVDs; and performances
which may incorporate one or more television sets, video
monitors, and projections, displaying live or recorded images
and sounds.
Video art is named for the original analog video tape, which
was the most commonly used recording technology in much of
the form history into the 1990s. With the advent of digital
recording equipment, many artists began to explore digital
technology as a new way of expression.
One of the key differences between video art and theatrical
cinema is that video art does not necessarily rely on many of
the conventions that define theatrical cinema.
Video art may not employ the use of actors, may contain no
dialogue, may have no discernible narrative or plot, or adhere
to any of the other conventions that generally define motion
pictures as entertainment.
This distinction also distinguishes video art from cinema's subcategories such as
avant garde cinema, short films, or experimental film.
23. “LOOKING THROUGH YOUR
EYES” SHORT ESSAY BY KGB
Thanks God – I said to myself, I was really afraid, and hopefully
back to reality.
Walking through the dark streets, I cannot see clearly my direction,
the steps I find. The faces from the people who I meet are not
familiar to me, but they insist on saying “Hello David”, all the time,
or similar words as “How are you doing David?”.
I cannot see more than a mist everywhere I put my eyes on. Is like
If my eyes does not want to recognize the place where I am. I feel
another person, but all these people is giving me a strange name
“David”. I recognize this name, but is like If I was in another time &
place.
Actually, my name is Jason, and I am living in Newcastle, but I am
walking through these streets in London. What is happening to me?
Closing my eyes and trying to concentrate myself through the mist,
I see at the same time the street where I live in Newcastle. I am
getting crazy!! What is happening to my mind!
Is like If I was living two different realities at the same time, for one
side I can see through this “David” eyes, and at the same time
through mine, Jason eyes… but all mixed and like walking in a
cloud.
I am out of my mind, but aware of what is happening to me, even if
not understanding anything, and really afraid about It. Then I
decided to sit at the entrance of one old building, to wait a while,
and expecting that this situation disappear.
With the hope that It was only some kind of effect of an illness or
something similar. So a took sit, closed my eyes, and waited some
minutes, about thirty, before opening them again to see the reality.
What happened then, was really curious I was back to NK, and the
rest had disappeared.
What had happened to me?
To be continued….
