Europeans were exploring routes around the Turkish Empire to gain access to spices from Asia. Spices were valuable in Europe to cover the taste of spoiled meat before refrigeration. Europeans also wanted to discover more of the world to find precious stones and animal furs after costly wars with the Turkish Empire. They hoped these explorations would expand geographic and scientific knowledge and prove the world was round, not flat.

Even the humblest peasant usually had access to a kitchen garden with a variety of herbs that were used for medicinal and culinary purposes.

Cell Therapy Expansion and Challenges in Autoimmune Disease
There is increasing confidence that cell therapies will soon play a role in the treatment of autoimmune disorders, but the extent of this impact remains to be seen. Early readouts on autologous CAR-Ts in lupus are encouraging, but manufacturing and cost limitations are likely to restrict access to highly refractory patients. Allogeneic CAR-Ts have the potential to broaden access to earlier lines of treatment due to their inherent cost benefits, however they will need to demonstrate comparable or improved efficacy to established modalities.
In addition to infrastructure and capacity constraints, CAR-Ts face a very different risk-benefit dynamic in autoimmune compared to oncology, highlighting the need for tolerable therapies with low adverse event risk. CAR-NK and Treg-based therapies are also being developed in certain autoimmune disorders and may demonstrate favorable safety profiles. Several novel non-cell therapies such as bispecific antibodies, nanobodies, and RNAi drugs, may also offer future alternative competitive solutions with variable value propositions.
Widespread adoption of cell therapies will not only require strong efficacy and safety data, but also adapted pricing and access strategies. At oncology-based price points, CAR-Ts are unlikely to achieve broad market access in autoimmune disorders, with eligible patient populations that are potentially orders of magnitude greater than the number of currently addressable cancer patients. Developers have made strides towards reducing cell therapy COGS while improving manufacturing efficiency, but payors will inevitably restrict access until more sustainable pricing is achieved.
Despite these headwinds, industry leaders and investors remain confident that cell therapies are poised to address significant unmet need in patients suffering from autoimmune disorders. However, the extent of this impact on the treatment landscape remains to be seen, as the industry rapidly approaches an inflection point.

They already sent a few people to explore the world. they are also preparing to fight against te turkish empire. But this is not the first time they lost the battle. Because the Europeans love to eat spices, but there’s nothing to prevent meat or other food from spoiling or rotting. So many of them sink their meat into salty water to cover up the taste of the spoiled meat, many of them also use spices to cover the smell and taste of the spoil meat. These days, the spices in Europe became more and more expensive and precious. There are many reasons why Europeans want to discover the world, some of them says that Europeans fought many wars but they never win and those wars are very costly so they need people to discoiver more about the world to search for more hidden, precious stones. Also to expand their knowledge, many says that the world is flat but educated people knows that the world is round. Futhermore, Europeans also tried to find as much animal fur to make clothes and jakets. They are very valuble goods in Europe because its hard to find anilmal fur there. I wish they did find something to show the world to increase our knowledge and know more about the world!
