Likewise as it was also in the days
of Lot: They ate, they drank, they
bought, they sold, they planted, they
built; 29 but on the day that Lot went
out of Sodom it rained fire and brim-
stone from heaven and destroyed
them all. 30 Even so will it be in the
day when the Son of Man is
revealed.
31 “In that day, he who is on the
housetop, and his goods are in the
house, let him not come down to
take them away. And likewise the
one who is in the field, let him not
turn back. 32 Remember Lot’s wife.
A. GODLY FAMILY
1. Lot ~ her husband, a “righteous
man” (II Pet. 2:8)
Genesis 19:1
Now the two angels

evening, and Lot was
sitting in the gate of
Sodom. When Lot saw
them, he rose to meet
them, and he bowed
himself with his face
toward the ground.

2. Abraham ~ her uncle, the “father
of the faithful” (Rom. 4; Gal.
3:6-29)
Hebrews 11:8–9

when he was called to go
out to the place which he

dwelt in the land of promise
as in a foreign country,
dwelling in tents with Isaac
and Jacob, the heirs with
him of the same promise;

God also adorned them-
selves, being submissive
to their own husbands, 6
as Sarah obeyed
Abraham, calling him
lord, whose daughters
you are if you do good
and are not afraid with
any terror.
Hebrews 11:11
By faith Sarah herself also
received strength to
conceive seed, and she
bore a child when she was

earth when Lot entered Zoar. 24 Then the LORD

So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the
