High school no 4 in Bydgoszcz, Poland was established in 1953 and is named after King Casimir the Great, an outstanding Polish historical figure. The school includes both upper and lower secondary levels. Students can now use the nearby swimming pool, gym, and fitness room for physical education classes. Each year the school celebrates the birthday of King Casimir the Great and holds an event in April called "Kaziki" where teachers and students dress up as characters to entertain the audience. The school also participates in the V Championship downhill skiing competition in Bydgoszcz.
