Educational Initiatives at the Bayat Foundation
The Bayat Foundation is one of the most active charitable foundations in Afghanistan, working to improve access to education. It has repaired and refurbished the Tahya Maskan Orphanage and Learning Center in Kabul, constructing the Faryab Learning Center for Orphans which occupies 13,000 square feet and includes 12 classrooms. Additionally, the Bayat Foundation designed and constructed the new Information and Communications Technology building at the American University of Afghanistan.
