To Whom It May Concern:
Pleaseacceptthis letterasevidenceof the high esteemthatI hold for Ms. JenniferReiser,
anapplicantfor employmentwith your companyor organization.
I havenot known Ms. Reiserfor very long. I met her in early Januaryof this yearwhen I
audited a French I class at the University of Central Florida. Ms. Reiser was the
instructor. However, in the short duration of our acquaintance,I have become quite
impressedwith herabilities, attitudeandwork ethic. Let me expandupon thesea bit.
As they say, first impressionsarevery important. What immediatelyimpressedme about
Ms. Reiserwas her contagiouslypositive attitude. Shewalked into classthe first day
radiating with enthusiasmand energy. As one who has seenmany a humdrum teaching
assistantin my days,my initial reactionwas that shewas definitely different. What took
a little longerto realize,however,wasthatthis enthusiasmwas realand constant,notjust
the excitementof a first time instructor.
During the courseof the semester, shecontinuedto impressme with her competencein
French. Her experiencesin Francewhile working for the Walt Disney Companyat Euro-
Disney.seemto give her a significant comfort level in French. With my wife being a
nltive speakeras well as an experiencedFrench teacher,I could not help trying to
occasionallyverify with my wife what Jenniferhadtaughtin class. As it turnsout, never
oncedid shesaysomethingin classthatwas contradictedby my wife.
Furthermore, shehas an outstandingability to communicate. This becameobvious in
how shetaught her class. Shealwaysmaintainedthe class' attention, and used several
innovative ways to teach conceptsin French. I always enjoyed going to her class
sessions. Not taking the class for credit, I could always find reasons not to attend
(meetings,etc.). But I truly enjoyedgoing to class, and only missed5 of the 48 class
sessions,2 becauseof illness- a testamentto the excellencewith which sheconducted
herclasses.
Lastly, she is very personable. She appearsto have some very good friends in the
departmentand enjoysa good reputationamongher colleagues. It shouldalso be noted
