LETTER OF REFERENCE for Charmaine Hammond
Charmaine Hammond was a guest speaker at our Spring 2015 School Councils’ Conference, held in
Whitehorse April 16-18th
.
She was well received as she presented sessions on:
--Courageous Dialogue: Communication, Resolving Conflict, Building Confidence, & Positive Outcomes
--School Council Resilience-Taking Care of Ourselves
Here are a few of the comments from delegates on their evaluation forms:
~-I really liked the sessions with Charmaine. She was so animated and her stories seemed relevant to real
life.
~I liked Charmaine Hammond’s interactive session on communication and dispute resolution. I liked the
approach inviting self-awareness of one’s communication style.
~I really enjoyed the Keynote speaker Charmaine Hammond. She had great energy and made her
presentation very interesting and informative.
~I liked Charmaine-hands on and practical, the focus on personal growth of Council members (especially
as they are volunteers and may not have access otherwise to this info/workshop)
From the very beginning of my contact with Charmaine in seeking her interest and availability to be part
of our conference, she was very responsive to all questions and suggestions and most definitely worked
well with us. We also appreciated that she attended the full conference, beyond just the sessions that she
presented.
We are happy to write this letter of reference for Charmaine and wish her continued success with her
work.
Sincerely,
Carol Coote
